Casey's — Restaurant in Springfield

This is a general review of all Casey's General Stores. They're products and food are good. Especially the pizza. Gas prices are good too. Tobacco products are priced reasonably as well. But, they are no Quicktrip. The thing that i don't like about caseys the most is the way they handle the customers. They just don't got it together that way. They compare to Kum and Go. Expect to wait forever in line there just to do the most simplest of things like pay for gas. (get a credit card and use it at the pump) Don't go there if you're in a hurry to get somewhere. Their employees can't handle even one customer at a time. There's problems most of the time. If you want a pizza, well, you're going to have to wait until they get around to making it. Sometimes they got real good deals on a whole pizza, but it depends on the day, and other times, you might as well just get one from Dominoes. But u don't know when it's that day. - it's like it's a secret or something. And you can never just go in and get a pizza without having to wait for at least 20 mins. So what do you do? It's like Little Ceasars where they tell you it's "hot and now" but they don't mean it cause it's not "now". But thats another review. However casey's pizza is very good. U just got to go through hoops to get it, and they're not open all the time. They all have different hours, and you got to play guessing games. So, to sum it up, I kind of like Casey's but...

Bought a scratch off ticket there. Cashier said she needs to ask manager if I can cash $200. She could have said that they couldn't. End of story. I was upset because you call the manager just to tell me that? Well I told the manager off on my way out. She physically came outside after me while I was trying to leave. I felt threatened because I was trying to unlock my bike and had her and other employees going after me over a comment. 🤣 Then the short pizza guy goes at me like he's going to punch me. (Brownie points) I wasn't stealing so you need to let Customers leave even if you're offended. I wasn't committing a crime so why do you go after customers? I called corporate and they are investigating. Corporate is a joke too. Talking to an attorney about it. Status: this matter has not been resolved. I got no call back from caseys. The employee with the dyed hair is incredibly rude, disrespectful, and frequently goes on power trips due to her opinions on things. She thought I tried to steal something which we concluded by saying it was a misunderstanding between myself and another employee. She had let me take a free drink she thought it was water because I asked if water would be free. She said no I said okay and proceeded to get a fountain soda. She then asked me to come back in and show her what’s in the cup and I paid for it. The employee I had the issue with and me are okay and I frequently purchase from her. However, the employee with dyed hair is still denying me. She’s incredibly rude about it and has denied me purchases on fuel on multiple occasions. I talk to all other staff and am friendly and know most of their names. However, she being here makes me not want to come anymore.
