I loooove the Annandale location, so I was super excited when I saw they set up shop right nearby home/work in Springfield! My coworker and I dropped by here for dinner on a weekday, and we ordered chicken (half soy garlic/half spicy combo), the scallion pancake, and a couple of beers each. They also gave us some snack cracker mix to crunch on while we waited for our food and drank our beers, so that was really nice. The food itself was fantastic. The chicken was delicious and crunchy, and the spicy ones were LEGITIMATELY spicy, hurray! The scallion pancake was really big and had a very nice scallion/squid/breading ratio. And the beer was refreshing of course! The lady working was super nice and very attentive to anything we needed. Also, the decor of the place is cute, and I love that there's some little bar-like touches (darts, bottle cap games). It was a really nice way to unwind at the end of the day. I'm definitely going to be back soon, maybe to try some of the other food on the menu as well, but let's be honest: ģ¹ė§„ is...

But what made the experience even worse is when I mentioned to the cashier that I didnāt like the bulgogi and wanted to trade it out, he told me no. Didnāt offer any remedy or resolution, other than telling us to order a new meal altogether.
Eventually my husband reasoned with him, and after making it very clear he didnāt want to, he āwent to the backā and eventually offered to substitute our bulgogi dishes for something else.
Hopefully there was no retaliatory spit or third party items in the substitue food, because the substitute order of spicy pork over rice was 8/10, they may have made it overly spicy because they...

Chicken can be ordered by wings, drumstick, or combo; and with your choice of soy or garlic sauce. An order of chicken comes with white rice or radishes (add house made kimchi for only $2 upcharge).
Of course the competitor here for Korean chicken is Bonchon. Chi Mc rivals, but taste and texture falls a bit short. Interestingly, Chi Mc is located in areas where Bonchon is not, spreading the wealth.
Adding more decorations and having beer on tap would liven up this joint. Springfield desperately needs a fun and lively Asian bar/restaurant and this guy thinks it...
