Puzukan Korean BBQ Bowl — Restaurant in Springfield

Great concept and loved it. we tried the chadol (beef brisket) bowl which comes with noodles , radish and some lettuce and rice on the bottom.The beef was wonderfully seasoned with salt and pepper..

The Kalbi bowl (beef short ribs) had a wonderful smokiness and was so very good and didn't even been any of the extra sauces.

lastly the soy chicken was great very good and was perfect for kids.

The kimchi bacon fried rice as a side and I have to tell you it's legit! they should offer a full size witham optional fried egg on top!

the portions are big and the the staff are very nice. The food is also made to order so dot expect the food to be out immediately.

another suggestion would be to have option of tofu on the side or a kids meal as well. I'm

overall loved it and will be back !

went back for spicy chicken and it was super flavorful as well

the pork kalbi are large chucks of perfectly cooked and marinated pieces.

we also tried the KFC -koreqn fried chicken small side and if was pretty close to a general tso.

cote -ribeye is also good as well as the vegi / tofu bowl. this place is a once a week...

We have only eaten there once since it opened this past Monday, but our first meal was great. I had high expectations since my family are all huge fans of Matsui Sushi, which is owned by the same people, and they lived up to them. The service was quick and friendly. Every dish we tried was delicious. At first, we thought it was a little pricey, but the bowls are more filling than we expected and we ended up getting dinner and a couple of lunches out of them. They were definitely a great value, especially with how much we enjoyed them. It was so good, I would have still been satisfied if we only got one meal for the price. We had the Bulgogi, Don Bop (pork belly), and 2 Soy Chicken bowls. The meat was the star of the show in all 3 dishes. It's all cooked tender and with a lot of flavor. It's balanced out well with a mix of rice and noodles along with grilled and pickled veggies. We also had a small portion of their kimchi, which was also really good. We'll definitely be back! Normally this place is one of our favorite destinations for group lunch at work. However, our most recent order (6/20/2022) was disappointing. The portion sizes were seemingly less than what we normally received and the taste of the food seems to have lost some of its quality. In this economy, one can expect an amount of "shrinkflation" however, as a restaurant that try's to thread the needle as a "counter-serve Korean BBQ" it is necessary that the customer feels the price for a Bulgogi Bowl ($12.50) is decent deal for the quality and quantity of food that one is receiving. We will probably give this place another shot because normally we are so satisfied and excited about the prospect of ordering from here. Hoping that the next time reaches the same standard that we are used to...
