Country Girls Espresso — Restaurant in Springfield

Hey everyone !! FYI CUBAN FOOD IS NOT SPICY BUT IT IS VERY TASTY!! My family is 🇨🇺 CUBAN AND I LIVED IN MIAMI FOR 30 YEARS AND THIS IS THE REAL DEAL GUYS! I found this CUBAN place in Springfield Missouri yesterday , great prices, great food!!! I had an Amazing Cuban Sandwich!🥪 and a Guava Milkshake, an CORTADITO COFFEE (Cuban expresso with a shot of evaporated milk , sweet and creamy, strong coffee ☕️ just the way Cubans drink it). I met the owner of the place, Mike, he is American 🇺🇸 born and raised in Tampa Florida and he knows the Cuban food and culture very well, he gets the Cuban Bread 🥖and the coffee ☕️ beans from Cuban bakers in Florida! WOW!! I LOVED IT !!! He has a Cuban Taco 🌮 ( he has fused Mexican and Cuban here, glazed with guava sauce) and he gave me a sample of that to try! Super clean place very professional and pleasant. Has a drive through window and car pull up constantly to get his amazing breakfasts sandwich 🥪 and coffee and smoothies! He was voted the best coffee ☕️ in Springfield!! Way to...

Today I had to get my car repaired, and while I waited I decided to walk across the street to this fine establishment. Now, I’d been multiple times with my girlfriend (in the drive-thru). But today I actually got to go in and have a seat while I ate.

For starters, the food is fantastic! I mean the absolute best and most AUTHENTIC Cuban sandwich in the 417. The coffee is incredible as well. Perfectly balanced and exactly how I like it, without having to ask for any additional sugar etc.

Not only is the food incredible, I got the chance of talking to the owner for a bit. This guy knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s humble, he’s honest, he’s a good conversationalist and he makes DAMN GREAT sandwich. He sources his bread from Florida, from an authentic Cuban bread factory.

I beg of you, whether you love Cuban sandwiches, are looking for a new sandwich shop, or a damn fine cup of...

Ive been to Country Girls every week for the past 4 or 5 weeks. Every time, great sandwiches. I like the Cuban and the Rachel. Coffee is great, but I always just order a Turtle. My wife loves the Miami and a Vanilla Lavender coffee.

UPDATE- new name for them and I have been going back every week for over a year now. Same great food and coffee and always a friendly chat with Mike. I still love the Rachel, and my wife still loves the Cuban, but we do try other sandwiches and they are all great.
