Meisel Avenue Park — Attraction in Springfield

Service,safety and social competence came together at Piattino's, a well established Italian Restaurant in Summit, New Jersey.The wait staff were superlative in performance and enacted and followed safety protocols that an outdoor dining experience will require.And the food became the centerpiece of epicurean perfection.The wine list appealed to our acquiring Rose and Riesling.Having a Ceasar salad , meatballs and Swordfish accompanied by canneli beans and carmelized onions.My guests ordered and enjoyed Clams, grilled Salmon and Shrimp with very thin pasta noodles respectively.At the end of the entree we ordered a slice of delicate Lemon cake as well as a selection of dark chocolate gelato and a cup of pistacio gelato.Our dining exploration was quite a...

Pond-erful! With three looped and paved options for walking/running you can choose your own adventure. One shaded and short (a quarter mile max) path is around a beautiful pond with tons of greenery, then another lush trail about 3/4 of a mile is to the right of a bridge, while a 3rd polyurethane running track (1/4 mile around) is very smooth and soft if you're prone to tripping and falling. Then feel free to fly a kite or run free in a large field surrounded by trees. I super recommend this park for young and old.

At first I thought the park was just ball playing fields and a track field, but hidden in the back are a few forested hiking trails. Smells amazing over there with all the honeysuckle and multiflora roses growing all around. Nice little Brook flowing through the middle.
