Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Springfield

Absolutely horrible experience with this place!! We will never be ordering from here again. If I could give zero stars I would. So we ordered two large pizzas and cheese sticks...simple order. Sent someone to go pick it up, literally across the street (the person unaware of what was ordered) came back with only 1 pizza and the cheese sticks. So we called and said we are missing a whole pizza here...they said we could come pick it up. So we sent someone back to get the pizza a second time... then they tell us, oh it's being delivered. So....we waited a good 30 mins, still no pizza!! Called back and spoke with the owner who was very rude and disrespectful....she hung up on us not once but twice. Says she refunded the order and its being delivered. I asked if they could just remake the pizza at this point and we will pick it up...the original is probably disgusting by now. She said "I refunded it and the pizza is here at the store, we are done at this point" and hung up the phone on me. So not sure if its being delivered or at the store. Horrible service, they claim to have refunded it but still doesn't make up for the disrespectful owner or disgusting cold pizza...

Was first time to try Marco's and when entering I noticed there was a young lady sitting on one of the counters in the back with her cell phone in one hand and twirling her hair nonstop with the other. My fist instinct was to turn around and leave, but my husband said lets just see, even though he knew it was going against everything we expect from a restaurant. The young man who took our order was polite and said he was new and when he wasn't sure about something didn't hesitate to get his manger to help- who walked right by the young lady who is now putting together some pizza boxes while still sitting on counter. We didn't realize this was mainly a carryout place and was expecting to eat our pizza there, and thankfully they had 2 tables we could sit and eat at. The pizza was okay, I probably could have enjoyed it more if while eating I couldn't see this girl sitting on the counter the whole time and at one point she sneezed and didn't even cover her face. I wish the manager took more pride in her job and would have made her get off the counter. Would not...

I have been a Pizza lover my whole life. I could eat it for every meal and not get tired of it. Up until I tried Marco's, a place called Mazzios was my favorite pizza place. Godfathers came close but still couldn't top Mazzios. Marco's is the first Pizza place, or of the hundreds I've tried, that is on the same level as Mazzios for the quality of their Pizza. The sauce is nice and rich with a great compliment of flavor that is not over powering. The dough is light and airy and dies not take anything away from the rest of the pizza. The toppings are done fresh everyday and you can tell by the flavor brought to the pizza. Each part of the pizza perfectly compliment each other to perfection. This is the only Pizza place I've stated was so close to Mazzios, and I can't pick a favorite over the other. The place is well kept and clean and the staff is real nice. If you want a great, supurb pizza, come to Marco's. You will not be...
