Had breakfast at McDonalds on Ingram Mill road & Chestnut this morning. They were obviously short staffed. I know because one of their staff, Amber, was complaining at the top of her voice about her horrible work conditions. A man from the back came up to get my order and I have no complaints about my order or how long it took to get it to me. Under the circumstances, I think they did a great job! That's why I'm giving a three-star rather than a one. It was after my breakfast however that I went back to order a cookie. I waited patiently until Amber saw me, huffed as of I were the biggest problem she had and as she was walking toward me I said "I just want a cookie". She walked by the cookie case stopped briefly and then came over to take my money. After that she didn't say a word turned around and walked back over to the drive through window. If she had said just one minute or it'll be a minute I would have known that she remembered my cookie. As it was I assumed, being as busy as they were, that she had forgotten to give me my cookie. Now here's the part where I need to admit that I was wrong. I reached around and got a cookie and went back to my table. She did not come back to the counter until a person came to pick up a large order that she had ready on the counter. She looked at me and said did you get your own cookie? I admitted that I had. Here's where she should have apologized for not telling me it would be a minute or I'm sorry for your wait. Instead she gave me the dirtiest look slammed the cookies in the trash turned around and yelled I need nine more chocolate chip cookies and proceeded to smack talk me so loud that everyone in the place could hear. I spoke with the shift manager. She went and talked to Amber and again, since Amber only has one volume I could hear her yelling, "I am not going to apologize!" I walked out and I will forget about this but just wanted to put it out there. Amber, quit complaining about your job and bringing down staff morale and start communicating better with...

Read moreA Solid McDonald’s Experience
Recently, I visited my local McDonald’s, and I must say, it was a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant was clean, well-lit, and welcoming, with friendly staff greeting me upon entry. The ordering process was seamless, thanks to the self-service kiosks that made customizing my meal quick and easy.
I opted for a classic Big Mac meal with a side of Chicken McNuggets. The food was served fresh and hot, which is always a plus. The Big Mac was exactly as expected – flavorful and satisfying, with just the right balance of beef patties, crisp lettuce, tangy special sauce, and a soft sesame seed bun. The fries were perfectly golden, crispy, and salted to perfection, while the nuggets were tender with a nice crunch.
The dining area was tidy, with staff regularly cleaning tables and ensuring a pleasant environment. My order was delivered promptly, even though the restaurant was moderately busy.
Overall, McDonald’s delivered what it’s known for: consistency, convenience, and comfort food that hits the spot. While it’s not gourmet, it’s exactly what you’d hope for when craving a fast-food fix. I left satisfied, and I’d happily return for another quick...
