Mundy's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Springfield

Well... I've read all the reviews... and I'm not going to decide not to go in there again because of the reviews... because my experience was pretty good... I ask the young lady at the bar if the cook could mix in some cottage cheese with my scrambled eggs instead of milk and she did and the scrambled eggs came out perfectly there in the picture ...I would've preferred white gravy on top of the breaded beef fritter... instead of all that sausage gravy... but other than that the breakfast and everything else was great the service was great... after I left I told the owner who I think was cooking that it was great and then I left... all that in the pictures cost me $25...

Second time here, first was for breakfast which was good. Food overall is good, just overpriced for what it is. Biggest joke of a reuben sandwich I've ever had. 2 to 1 sauerkraut with 0 dressing on it. The corned beef was minimal and cut incorrectly as well. That much I can live with. Then, I saw inside the kitchen. The 2 cooks had no hair coverings and had personal food and drinks in their work area. Last I worked in a kitchen, that was a health code violation. First visit. Interior is roomy with bar seating and tables. Greeted in a timely, friendly manner. Coffee(which was really good) and water served right away. Our party of five ordered various breakfast offerings. Biscuits and gravy was for the whole table. Both were good. Breakfast meats all well received. Grits needed salt-in fact, a little salt helped most dishes. Service was top-notch. All in all, a satisfying meal...
