Took well over 40 mins to even take our order then another 20-30 to get our food. Ppl who arrived 20 mins after us was already getting their food. Waiter kept not bringing things we asked for or taking forever to do so. Our floor by our table was flooded with water, once made aware of it they did nothing to move us or anything. Waiter got crappy because no tip was left on the card. One he hadn’t earned a tip and two was going to leave a cash tip until his attitude about not getting one! Worst experience ever! Asked for a manager that he never went and got! Called today to speak with a manager because my almost 2-year-old autistic son was overstimulated with the way we decided to go ahead and leave so called the manager today. Who did nothing to even try to make up for the crap we delt with last night and was there and aware of the situation! Hardly open 2 weeks and this is how it is??? Read moreI placed an online order and called the store to insure my note requesting a substitution was received. The young lady who answered the phone confirmed she saw the note and had informed the kitchen staff of the change. I thanked her and apologized, letting her know I was sick and just wanted to make sure the online order was good. She apologized to hear about my illness, asked if I would like some lemon water, recommending a strawberry to enjoy after, and asked if I would like anything else that may make me feel better. I requested a few extra mints as I find them soothing. Her kindness and thoughtfulness went above and beyond customer service. On top of that, the order was delivered timely and accurately, the food was warm and delicious, and the lemon water with the strawberry soothed my soul. I will never forget this experience. Best I've ever had from any restaurant...ever....
Read moreWe added our party of 8 to the Olive Garden online wait list, which showed only two parties ahead of us. When we arrived, we checked in and noticed the restaurant had very few tables occupied, though there was a line out the door. The hostess told us it would just be a few minutes while they set up our tables.
A manager then came over and mentioned they try to “stay away from large groups” but that it would be just another minute. During this time, the long line of smaller parties behind us were seated right away while we continued to wait. After about 15 minutes and two reminders, we were finally seated—unfortunately with a bit of attitude from the staff.
Olive Garden really needs to improve the call-ahead/wait list system and train staff to better handle larger groups. The food may be consistent, but the experience of being brushed aside left a lot...
