Been going to Hong Kong Inn for years. But that is coming to an end after noticing im being stole from. Not every time but i ordered food in the drive thru yesterday. My total came to 106.26 reciept attached. Well after checking my bank account i notice i was charged 127 dollars. I then had are accountant go back and check are Hong Kong inn charges to the receipts. Not on all but on multiple occasions my card has been charged more than what the receipts say. This is stealing clearly. I did contact the police and showed them the proof and they followed me to Hong Kong inn only to find out they are closed on Tuesdays. I have told the officers I would like to see what is going on before taking any kind of legal action. As a business owner myself I don't want to just suprise the owner with legal responsibility if it's something that maybe an employee is doing. The proof is attached. God Bless Update: They did take care of the situation! Honest people!!!

I never got the chance to say what I’d ordered, because they kept cutting me off and trying to rush me off the phone. They insisted I bring in the food for a refund and were very impatient when I tried to ask for details on what else may be needed. Truly, it’s not like I called to chew anyone out, I really just wanted to make sure I was prepared. When I came by after work they issued the refund, but frankly didn’t seem to care about the situation. I got a passive “sorry about that” and sent on my way. This used to be my go-to spot for years but honestly I never want to go back.

I have visited hong kong inn many times over the years however the quality at the hong kong inn on kearny , glenstone and battlefield the quality of the food and taste has severely taken a plunge over the last few years , the only good hong hong inn is on east sunshine . I happened to be on the north side so I decided to get some hong kong inn through the drive thru and went home. I have purchased the beef broccoli several Times in the past and decided to get it again. it literally was inedible, it smelled very pungent like strong urine. and my other order was a triple extra spicy general chicken..... the general chicken was not extra spicy and the texture of the breading on the chicken was very soggy. I called the restaurant soon after returning home and trying the food and was told to bring it back and I could get a refund or exchange the food. when I got there the lady Mimi literally argued and yelled at me when I said the food could not be eaten and then she told me they do not give refund . I argued in return that I have ate there many times and I have never had that kind of issue with the food being so gross. she tried to say they sell that exact same dish many times a day and they use the same recipe for the last 30 years and no complaints. I said well I am complaining and it smells so bad and tastes horrible and I couldn't eat it. so then she tried to say that basically it wasnt her fault that my taste buds aren't use to the flavor . I was like I just said I have ordered this same dish several times before and I have not had that issue. I also have said that I order the general chicken triple extra spicy and not only was it not spicy but it was soggy . she told me that it was triple extra spicy and the chicken is how it is always made. she then again mentioned my taste buds and she didnt know my heat level . but it was made very spicy.. I was shocked by her behaviour, that she was so rude by raising her voice and she probably only did so because there was only 2 ppl dining inside. she refused to do a refund but she did offer to replace the beef and broccoli with something else as far as the general chicken she asked if I wanted her to throw it away for me but she did not offer to correct that order. I wont be returning to the kearny location. the food is just never that great there anymore...

(READ BEFORE EATING AT THIS PLACE!) I was very polite about the whole situation. I wanted to start no issues or create any type of scene. I asked the front counter lady to come by, and I explained to her how my veggie lomain noodles were EXTREMELY salty. I could not eat it and I asked if possibly I could get a refund. She said absolutely let me ask and see what they can do. Then this bald dude with glasses and an apron walked over and passively aggressively said “ I can’t give you a refund “. At this point I was the center of attention because he was loud and aggressive with it. I explained how it was really salty and I couldn’t eat it, so I was wondering if I could just get my money back. He started going on about “ we make it in a 5 gal bucket, all of our sauce is the same, there isn’t a physical problem with it, I can’t give you a refund”. At this point I was already embarrassed because how loud and unprofessional he was being. I looked at him sternly and said “ I want no issues, I’m not trying to create a scene, I just can’t eat this food because it’s so incredibly salty. He walked away in the back and started gossiping about it in the back with the other employees. I don’t understand how an establishment like this can be so unprofessional. I ordered a veggie lomain and 5 count crab ration. COST ME 20$. I won’t be coming here again. And honestly the owners/ cooks/ whatever tf he was needs to take a course on customer service and how to calmly approach a situation. I do not recommend this place. Definitely not a...

Every time I eat here I think about leaving a review for the exact same reason but every time I Talk myself out of it because I decided it’s not worth my time except for today. I love Hong Kong in and I have probably been eating the food for 10 years, and I have eaten at every location. I eat at this one Frequently just because it’s close to my work and every single time I come in here the food is good but the customer service is horrible. The cashiers are very rude, It’s practically a ritual That I walk in and say “how are you doing” and all they reply with is “for here or to go” and I can’t remember a time they said anything other than that. today is my last straw I won’t come to this location again. The food is delicious So if you don’t mind rude customer service then it’s a great place to eat, but I never walk in here and see if familiar face for a friendly face. The turnaround must be horrible And this is the only Quetion like this. All the other ones...
