Today we got Schlotzsky’s for lunch. Every Wednesday they have a buy one get one free pizza, deal, so we took advantage of that. We also got the how Albuquerque turkey sandwich on jalapeño cheese bread, I think. I have to say that the sandwich was my favorite. The food was very good. There is a lot of meat in the sandwich, which I loved! But my favorite thing? The assistant general manager, Hannah. Her customer service skills were EXTRAORDINARY!!! We had 1 million questions (yes I am being a bit hyperbolic) she was so patient and so kind and did not seem at all inconvenienced by my “Sally “ tendencies.(BTW, if you haven’t seen the movie, “when Harry Met Sally,“ and you won’t get this reference. In which case, I encourage you to watch this iconic classic.) I asked for a certain things on the side so that my sandwich wouldn’t become soggy. Not only did she acquiesce, she did it with such class and elegance. And she gave us free cookies! For me, excellent customer service is vitally important … I don’t know who her boss is, but she absolutely deserves a raise. When I go out to eat or even get food to go, it’s typically Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Italian, and on rare occasions, seafood. However, I was so impressed by Hannah, that I will be back. Absolutely. 100%! Last night we went back. Jenn took care of us and she was amazing. Today, I bought a gift card to Schlotzsky’s and my daughter and I unfortunately misunderstood and tried to take the metal sheet that was on the back just like most credit cards and ended up messing up the numbers and the letters so it is no longer legible. Today I called and spoke with Zara. What EXTRAORDINARY customer service! She wrote down my name and told me to bring the card in and is going to honor it...
Read moreI have gone to this schlotzsky's for years. And have never had a bad experience. But this was bad. The two young men behind the counter were more concerned with what was on their cell phone. Then they were about helping people or answering questions or anything. I live in Marionville and this was a treat for me and my folks for dinner. I ordered online. They did not provide me au jus with my French dip sandwich at all. I asked and paid for extra dressing for my father's salad. It was not provided. I got my mom a turkey avocado and there was no avocado. When I asked the young man at the counter if everything was in the bag when he handed it to me he said yeah. It should be and turn around and walked away. When I decide to file a complaint against us, I received an email back that was very nice. Bad informed me they would be giving me reward points. And I had to download them. I don't do report points. The ones I had expired and telling me to download them not customer service. Wrote back. Told them I didn't want the rewards and why and never received another answer. I hate to say it. I really really do because I truly loved this schlotzsky's but I'm marking them off the Christmas...
Read moreWe had a horrible experience here, I can see why the dining area was empty. The floor was so sticky it was ridiculous. The employees could clean when they aren't busy instead of just standing around talking. The soup was disgusting, it was incredibly lumpy, very salty and barely warm. The soup isn't cheap and they don't even fill it to the top (which I ended up being grateful for because I couldn't even finish what they gave me 🤢) I thought maybe they don't fill it to the top so you can fit in the crackers but nope, they don't even give you crackers anymore. The sandwich is ok but not much meat for the price and the bread usually tastes better. Chips were even burnt 😕 Only thing that tasted good was really the Barq's root beer. And then when you find a hair that you know isn't yours or the person you're with because it is short and black that is just the end of attempting to enjoy the meal. And the person in the profile picture with the long hair and long beard isn't writing this review so don't even try to say it was mine 😂 This place used to be so good but it has really...
