Tried to use a gift card on the app. My order was $34 and the gift card was for $25. I guess you can't do that but this isn't revealed until your order is placed. The app showed me that I would have $9 left to pay after using the gift card, then charged my debit card for the entire $34. I tried contacting the store and the phone was never answered. I sent an email that was never responded to, and when I asked about it in the store I waited 15 minutes for a manager to come back in before giving up because there was no evidence that a manager was there. I only went to Subway because I had a gift card, I'm not a fan in the first place. The sandwich I got wasn't bad but the cucumber slices I ordered on my sandwich were not there. Read moreStopped in last night to eat the new smokehouse wrap and was kindly greeted, patiently waited for the customers in front of me order. I observed a young lady that was rockin that joint with speedy service and attention to detail! Before she could take my order another young lady walked in the door, that just got back from break, literally clock right in and asked me for my order. Food was perfectly put together. She confirmed the ingredients that she was going to put in the wrap. And swiftly had my order wrapped and ready. Despite the set back, they were quick to remake the order and put it right. They have always been very helpful at this location and put their best foot forward. I hope the team member is okay, she seemed upset about what happened, but I hope she knows it's okay.
Mistakes happen and we are all human. People often forget how high stress and difficult food service can be, and I don't blame her one but for being stressed when they weren't there.
