Taco Bell — Restaurant in Springfield

I frequent this location and the one near Glenstone and Division. I can say from experiences at both that the quality of the food and the wait time is almost always better at this one. Portions are generally closer to reasonable (Face it, we're not getting the 80's or 90's back in that regard.) I always order through the app with special instructions to add things to my items and they nail it 99% of the time here.

Now, given the nature of the workforce situation post major COVID changes, the wait is largely dependent on not just who has been hired, but even who even shows up. There may be 3 people behind the counter (including the kitchen) or six or seven. I have waited up on 20-40 min on some nights but usually no more than 10. I don't feel like wait time is a thing that can be accurately judged as things are around town currently.

Edit: From 5 to 4 stars. The food is still good but the service is becoming consistently worse. Between my last two visits, one I went to check on a mobile dine in order after 30 min of the order and the guy on the food line legit yelled at me about being busy unprompted. I then waiting about another 10 minutes. Was given coupons as compensation.

The next I decided to see if I could get my combo drink while I waited. App says the order is received an being made. They insist it isn't in their system and it takes time. They wouldn't give the drink despite being shown my order. What...

I love taco bell and normally wouldn't give a bad rating. But when I arrived at the location the cashier dropped all of the trays on the ground, nothing wrong with that right? Well when I proceed to give him my order I'm picky and asked for some stuff to be removed, while I'm ordering he is literally getting annoyed by my order. When I ask for 3layer nachos with no beans he says "but then it's only cheese and red sauce" so I told him I know! Then I give him my cash and he insisted he give me a penny he owed me that I didn't want I just wanted to get away from him. He was freaking me out, he was nodding and acting high on something and being a complete dick then I remembered maybe that's why he dropped the trays when I came in. But anyways they then put sour cream on something I ordered that I asked not to have so I had my boyfriend take it back to the counter for a new one. He never gave my receipt back, I was gonna call and complain about him in the morning and maybe fill out the receipt survey but since I lost the receipt I'll just inform everyone on here my receipt did say his name which was Nicholas H. I really believe he was high and my friends could tell there was something up with this dude too so I hope something is...

Where do I start? I mean, how hard is your job really? Attached is my receipt. The only thing they got right was 3 cheesy Gordita crunches although they we're cold! My cinnamon twist came with 5 in it. Did not receive my taco Supreme. And two sides of potatoes were hard as a rock and could fit into one container! Not edible unless you wanted to break you're teeth! Now you will also see I asked for alot of hot sauce, which they gave me 3! Again I asked for more and the girl at the window very rude like said "yep!" And handed me another 3. Terrible customer service! When I called and spoke to the "Manager" or so she claimed to be, I asked her for a refund on my rock potatoes and missing taco she did not help. Said I could come back to store if I want, when I know when their was an issue before they are able to pull it up by receipt and could return money back to card. She just didn't want to do her job like everyone else in the store. I should be asking for a refund on the entire meal. Poor establishment. will not return, better to drive to the other Taco bell. They got 1 star cuz zero stars...
