Hammons Field is a beautiful baseball stadium with a pristine playing field nestled in the heart of Springfield. Home of the Springfield Cardinals, Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Missouri State Bears Baseball program you can see baseball nearly year-round.

The stadium has ample parking for a fee near the stadium, as well as local businesses nearby. There are other options nearby as well that are free, or a small fee. Tickets to Cardinals games are decently priced, with fun promotions and the opportunity to see future MLB stars, and current MLB players doing rehab. Don't miss the Fireworks on Fridays!

Concessions and Beer are over-priced, as expected, however you can usually catch $1 Hot Dogs on Tuesdays, and $1 Bratwurst on Thursdays which is a great deal, but be sure to grab a few while in line, you won't want to wait that long again. There are several "basic" concession stands, Specialty Stands, bars, Chik-fil-A, Dominos Pizza, Hiland Dairy Ice Cream and more. Thankfully there are maps that detail where you can grab the best noms.

Take advantage of the Redbird Roost seats at least once, as it's all-inclusive food and sodas/water on a private terrace with a beautiful view of the field. There's a dedicated concession stand as well, and tickets are usually a great deal if you plan to eat or drink anything at all.

Their suites and clubs are awesome. Great service and decent food options that will keep you full for 9 innings. The decor and theme is historical and, of course, Cardinals related with comfy furnishings and outdoor seating available.

The Fan shop offers several jerseys, shirts, hats, accessories and more with Springfield Cardinals logos, as well as some limited merchandise from around the league.

Overall the stadium is a great place to see a game, and there is a lot of great amenities throughout the stadium I didn't mention. Pro tip, if you're going to an evening game but the sun is blistering, buy seats behind home plate, or on the third base side and...

Best and cheap place to watch our home town Springfield Cardinals! And every year they play a game against the St.louis Cardinals! It's a great place to go and take your family for a wonderful time. Plus they have extra activities for you and you family to do while the game is going on. For an example they have a (Half Court Basketball Court) for you and your family to play on. Plus they have like extra games you could pay to play, like the good old fashioned baseball throw to see how fast you pitch. They also throw out free stuff throughout the games to people in the crowd as in Ike T-shirts and other awesome stuff. They have plenty of Cardinals merchandise for sale more then alot of places. Also they don't just host Cardinal games, for example the last time I went I watched MSU vs. Oklahoma State with my son who is 1 month from being 8yrs old and it was his first ball game and wants to go back every chance he gets! And the service by the people who work there are so awesome and nice that if it wasn't a decent ball park I'd go just because of how awesome the Cardinals staff is! Great family friendly place to go to and have a awesome time and it's a awesome place to reduce stress and take a break from...

This was an experience of a lifetime for my 9 year old grandson! He plays shortstop on his traveling team and had never been to a real ball game. We had excellent front row seats to take it all in. Great close parking, every staff member I interacted with was extremely helpful, friendly and pleasant! He got a custom jersey at the team store, some food at the concession that was very reasonable for a ballpark. A host asked if he wanted to sign up for a contest after the 7th inning and we did and he had fun with that. He ended up with 2 game balls, win a bobble head at the spin-a-wheel and to top his already wonderful day JJ the Cardinals shortstop signed his Cardinal ball that we picked up at the team store! So JJ is now his favorite baseball player! He was very nice and friendly while signing. He went to a St Louis game the following week with some of his teammates and enjoyed his experience in Springfield much more! I can’t say enough of what a special day it was for a grandson and his Papa. We...

This is a great Double-A stadium with a large concourse with a variety of food items. The seats are comfortable and there are grassy areas in the outfield you can visit or sit on the grass. The game was put together well with a good PA announcer and in-between inning games. The only downside is that viewing home plate from the first base side is looking directly at the setting sun when the sun is beginning to set as the game start. I recommend sitting on the third base side or wearing sunglasses and a hat. This would be 5 stars if there wasn’t an issue viewing the game on three first base side due to the sun.
