I literally order here all the time and had the worst experience last night. Long story short I order the same wrap every time and normally the same questions are asked (type of chicken and if I want lettuce/tomato/dressing). This time the wrap came different so I called for a remake since there may have been a misunderstanding about the order. Lady continuously says that I got what I asked for and unwilling to come to a solution. She also said calls were recorded and she could send me a copy of it and continuously tries to talk over me and had a snarky attitude. She even said there’s a history of what I order which showed the inaccurate type probably because I always ask for the toppings; I know what I’m eating and it’s not grilled chicken that I ever order. She tries to charge me extra for a remake because they don’t wanna take the wrap back and toss it but then after continuous back and forth willing to add missing ingredients to a wrap I already bit into and opened up. My partner ended up going back, they grabbed the wrap, had poor service and poor attitude so ultimately asked for a refund again. Given tough time for a refund, they start hiding all the food they had out, staff switched into a different language, pretend to start cleaning to close the store 50 minutes before posted closing time, and rudely gave the money back. No receipts given either time too. Don’t waste your time or money here. If there’s an issue with your order you are SOL and as a business they will not try to make anything right, everything will be...
Read moreYesterday , one of the delivery drivers for Village Pizza was double parked and standing outside his vehicle in front of the restaurant. He almost caused a three car accident as there were people pulling out of Audobon, as well as others pulling in. The drivers defense when confronted was that it was "ok" because he worked there. As anyone with more than a jr. high school education will tell you, that does not give him the right to park illegally on a busy street or break State Laws. I spent some time researching this today. I want everyone to know that when, and not if, but when one of these drivers for Village Pizza cause an accident due to how they handle that corner. By law anyone involved in that accident will be able to go after the restaurant itself in court. This owner either needs to get control of his drivers and demand they handle themselves according to the States laws, or, its just a matter of time before they create an accident and this restaurant gets sued for more than its worth, effectively closing them down. Its not a bad Restaurant and the owner seems very nice. However , he needs to understand that he is legally responsible for what his delivery drivers do when they are on the clock. With any luck they will see this and fix the problem before one of his drivers completely destroys his livelihood. If anyone there does not believe this , I implore you to research it yourself. So , to recap... ANYTHING VILLAGE DELIVERY DRIVERS DO WHILE ON THE CLOCK, OPENS THE RESTAURANT TO A...
Read moreFor 3 years this was my default pizza parlor, I even put up with their (sometimes) poor customer service in exchange for good pizza. However I now have had enough with the final straw involving waiting 1hr 40 minutes for my pizza on boxing day. I called to complain, only to be told a blatant lie (a sad attempt to save face), apparently they did not have the correct address and I should have called them! After putting the blame on me; I cancelled the order. However the delivery guy shows up 20 minutes later; even phones me; because they had my number from the order all along. After exclusively ordering form Village Pizza for 3 years, it is time to move on and find somewhere new, glad I did because so far I found two better places...
