Been to this place 3 times and it has been a nightmare.
1st time. Was drive thru. Got 2 sandwiches. They took 20 minutes to make them. They were clearly bouncing between the drive thru and the customers inside.
2nd time. Went in the morning, and went inside this time. Once person was working, and there was fresh baked bread on the rack behind her. But she refused to give us the fresh bread. All we got was the break left over from the day before. So I wasn't able to get what I wanted. It was clear they didn't put anything in the fridge over night, it had all be left out. We ordered 4 sandwiches before work, and so we were expecting it to be about 15 minutes to get through. But it took 30 minutes! I have never been to a Subways that is so slow! The inside is falling apart, not clean at all. Looks like the manager could careless about this place, and really if they aren't willing to keep the up keep then they should just shut down.
3rd time. Got 1.5 sandwiches. Went through the drive thru. The guy on the line told me that there were other people a head of me and that I would have to wait. Which tells me they don't have enough help period. Finally they got to be after waiting 10 minutes. I order my sandwiches, with no help of their menu, which half of it is missing, the board doesn't light up any more, it is falling apart and held together with masking tape, this was the same state as the first visit. Luckily I have been to many Subways and know what I want. I finally pay and get out of there. When I finally sit down at my desk and unwrap my sandwich the guy had put things on the sandwich I DIDN'T ASK FOR! They don't listen to you when it comes to the condiments, I asked for "a little" mustard and "a little" mayo, the sandwich is drowning in it. On the other sandwich as said no condiments at all, what so ever, and I end up with salt and pepper on the sandwich! I am livid. This was the last straw.
I only go to this place because it is a 2 minute drive from my work. But I will end up driving 15 minutes for 2 minutes of service at another Subway. And it is clear the management could careless about anything, because they haven't changed anything with their 2.2 review online. The Subway Franchise should shut this one down, because it is a disgrace to the Subways I have known and been...
Read moreI went in today with a coupon for two 12" subs for $12.99. Here's the conversation with the manager. Me: "I was in a few days ago and used a coupon for a steak/cheese sandwich with guacamole, I'd like that again. I have a coupon for two of them." MGR: "Oh that's our Cali-steak" Me: "great I'd like two of those" ... Order complete ... MGR: "That's $26.58" Me: "What about the coupon?" MGR: OH that's the ONLY sandwich that the coupon isn't good for". Me: "I told you I was using a coupon." MGR: "Oh I didn't hear you." Me: "Really, you're joking, right?" MGR: "No I'm not"
I would have told her to keep them but I was pressed for time having already waited 15 minutes to order. So I paid and left.
Dear Mgr, Here's how I'll solve that and feel better about it. You, at your location, will never see another dollar from me. Also, the two businesses that I manage will no longer be authorized to use company funds at your store. I'll inform HR that the upcoming employee party catering order for 43 people will go to Smith's deli. Enjoy the extra $13.00 you made on my order.
UPDATE: February 16th update. So the day I posted this review I also contacted Subway Corporate and received a reply the next day from their Operations and Marketing Director who apologized and asked to set up a call time for "a few points that I don't yet understand." I responded with some suggestion on time. That was 6 days ago. Not a word since.
Conclusion: Perhaps the poor communication starts at the top....
UPDATE #2: May 10th Still no response from the "Operations and Marketing Director"
What a joke of a manager and business ... AND I've kept to it and haven't spent a penny there nor order anymore group company meals $1,000.00 or so loss for your business...
Read moreLots of room for improvement. The first thing I noticed was how dirty it was. The floor had not been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. Which is usually reflected in how well other areas of a restaurant is cleaned. Also, when my family and I walked in we stood in front of the counter, about 3 feet from 3 employees and they said absolutely nothing. They didn't even look up. We stood there awkwardly waiting for them to say something, but eventually I just asked how everyone was doing, in order to break the silence. It was a very strange experience. Once we were finally asked for our orders, the employees seemed very unhappy and uninterested in doing their jobs. Also, there was a girl reading the temperature of the food and recording them (presumably for health code reasons), but she was pushing the food to the side to read the bottom of the food bins. Which is obviously significantly cooler than the rest of the food in the bin. She was clearly fudging the numbers. At this point I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get food poisoning. I'm sure it will all be fine. And I know it's tough to find enough employees to keep business running. I'm thankful those employees showed up for work so I could have a...
