Zubs has been a favorite place of mine since I was a little kid. Unfortunately, my opinion about them has changed drastically. About a year and a half ago, we had the WORST experience. The ignorant and belligerent manager refused to correct our incorrect order and escalated a minor issue into a giant issue then threatened to call the cops on my husband because he insisted the error be corrected (it's a long story). Fortunately, Rena, the owner was helpful and offered her apologies and to try and make things right. Fast forward to tonight.... We decided to give them another shot and are yet again thoroughly disappointed. This might just be the final straw for me. We had a bigger order as we ordered for our family of 5. For the most part things were ok..... except for the simplest request. I'm struggling to understand how one can get an order for Ham and Cheese with Mayo only, wrong. It's not that difficult. I understand the toppings can be picked off but there's just something about hot, soggy lettuce and tomatoes, smothered in mustard that is just gross. Maybe I'm just picky? Regardless, if it's ordered that way, make an effort to see that it is made as requested. It's NOT a difficult request. It'll save you toppings and me the frustration. Unfortunately, they were closed by the time we got home and realized it was wrong. I can totally understand that mistakes are made and people are human but unfortunately, we have had more wrong orders than right ones.
