It is awesome to have a fun shaded park right by a splash pad, but the actual park playground is so dangerous! There are 2 play structures and the bigger one does say it is for I think 5-12 year olds, but smaller kids see it and want to climb up to. But this structure has like 6 or more spots that have like 10+ feet drop offs. Even a child between the ages 5-12 could be severely injured. The slides on even the little kids structure were super steep. It just seems like whoever designed this playground forgot that kids, regardless of age, will want to go on the big one and that stuff up that high needs better...
Read moreMy child loved the playground! Certain parts, like the climbing web on the little kids section, are a bit of a struggle for very little kids under 4. However, lots of 3+ kids were playing on that section, going down slides and spinning the steering wheels, etc. There are several swings, including a couple toddler swings. The big kids section has lots of fun things that are unique and adventurous. We also walked past the splash river (it's a little stream-like sort of splash pad) and it looked really fun!
