Edit: I had to come back and edit this review after the totally inappropriate, rude, and mean comments made by the owners here. I am currently among the top 10% of restaurant reviewers on google maps. I have over 520k views on my reviews. I tell it like it is. You better believe I’m not going to give any good recommendations for this place. I have critiqued many places and never received such a response. Professional restauranteurs respond to such critiques with promises to do better and gratitude for helping them to do better. Not here…..the owner insults you. By the way, the owner lies all over the website. He uses the freshest locally-sourced ingredients. Canned mushrooms and canned sauce? I’d love to know his local sources for meat, vegetables, and dough (evidently they don’t even make that themselves). You have to go to Yelp to discover that the generations of pizza experience is actually just recipes from a friend in New York. From the attitude alone, you can tell that this restaurant owner is definitely not a professional. My wife and I like to try new places and made this our date night. We weren’t impressed. The kids working there were wonderful. But that was the only good thing about the experience. Several glaring issues made this place less-desirable than other pizza joints. The first thing we noticed is that the “pizza by the slice” pizzas were sitting on a marble counter under glass. No heat to keep them warm. The marble is cool and draws out any heat quickly. The pizzas all appeared each to be day old pies. We were told they were only out for1/2 hour, but they looked a lot older than that. There were no fresh ones put out while we were there. Evidently, the old, congealed slices get thrown into the oven to warm up. I’d rather put a frozen one in the microwave. We both ordered a 10” pizza each. I got pepperoni and Italian sausage. I got 11 tiny pepperonis on my pizza and a small scattering of sausage bits. My wife got ham, mushrooms, and bell peppers. The peppers were thinly sliced which was good, but the mushrooms were from a can, making them slimy and chewy. The dough and sauce was ok. The garlic knots were knot the best. They were better when they were hot, but extremely greasy. The marinara sauce that came with them tasted like it came out of a can of cheapskate sauce from Dollar Tree. We’ve had better canned marinara sauce from Walmart! The $2.50 soda was a 16 oz bottle. I can get a 24 oz bottle at Maverik for 0.40 less. I don’t mind paying that for refillable sodas, but not for a few swallows. Another issue was the tall tables with the stools. We are both tall and the chairs were uncomfortable. It seemed like they were purposely doing their best to get people to leave quickly. And only 4 tables in that large space. The meal was not worth the price we paid. We could have gone to MOD pizza for a cheaper and quicker pizza. Plus, we would have had the quantity of FRESH ingredients that we wanted , instead of a cheese pizza with a few pepperonis on it or canned mushroom pizza. Unless there are drastic changes, we will not be returning. The sad thing is that the pizza cooked and served at the same location when it was a 7-Eleven was cheaper and far better than here.

Burned pizza, bad service and very disappointed. I hate to leave a negative review but my experience was truly a let down. I ordered 2 large pizzas, a supreme & a pepperoni, to go. I had a nice talk with the owner while I waited. When I arrived home and opened the boxes the pizzas looked fabulous. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there. As we bit into the pizza all we could taste was blackened, burned crust. I turned the pizza over to find the underside charred to black. It was truly inedible. The second pizza was the same. I immediately called to try and get a replacement but the store had closed by then. We were left to scramble for a new meal as the pizza wasn’t fit to be eaten. I placed a call the next day upon the store opening to try and return or replace the pizzas, however, the owner wasn’t there and no one else had the authority to do anything. I called several times thereafter to no avail. I also left my contact info for the owner to return my call and got absolutely no reply. Two large pizzas and a tip were $50, to the trash. Try at your own risk my friends. Edit- After reading the reply from my review I took them up on their offer to come in for the free replacement and give it another try. I’m so glad I did. It has led me to ordering pizza from here 4 more times (already) since and each one has been a lovely experience. We’ve now tried the pepperoni, the supreme, the cheese and the Margherita. I want to preface by saying that I’m a native New Yorker and I realize that there is not a way to perfectly replicate a NY pizza anywhere out west. I’ve done a lot of research and tasting and there’s truly something in the science of the east coast water and other elements that just make it impossible to perfectly replicate the NY pizza experience. Anyones whose had it knows that massive slice with crust so thin it begs to be folded and that pool of grease bubbling from the cheese so tasty one must break off the outer crust for a dip. That said, this is as close as I’ve come. The sauce is near greatness and brought back fond memories of pies from the East. There is something special about the pizza here. While in NY I’d never order anything but cheese I’ve found a new love here that tides me over nicely, the Margherita! While all 4 varieties I tried were very good quality, cooked to near perfection and delicious -the Margherita is a stand out. No doubt the best Margherita pizza I’ve had. Something about the sauce, fresh basil and some kind of magic sprinkle of Parm or something I haven’t been able to put my finger on makes this over the top tasty. Everyone in my family loves this pizza. I’m also compelled to add that the service I’ve received (aside from the first) has been stellar. The negative experience I had I feel needs to be chalked up to being a new store and ironing out the kinks. I changed my review from 1 to 4 stars and not 5 only because of that experience. If I continue to have good service and great pizza I will happily change it to 5 in the near future -because the pizza is actually that good.

Really hit the spot. I've got about zero experience with NY pizza but the slice, but hey, it was great pizza and ranch and garlic knots. I'd totally go again, even when I'm a county away. The interior is spacious and clean, a bathroom at the back, lots of standing room, then chairs around, four tables inside and two picnic bench tables outside. Pizzas are readymade and in view so you can browse and choose what you want. I got two meal deals—each with a slice, two knots, and a drink—for about $12, so that's good spending. You just walk in, order and pay at the counter, then wait for your order and go. I really like the small sliced pepperoni on pizza, so I was glad to see it used here, and it was great. For their big pies they have a nice melty cheese, and for the pie with pecorino (mmm), the cheesiness has a great chew to it to go with the thicker crust on that one. Definitely recommend that one. Drink variety is pretty great! Ranch and red sauce for dipping are great. The red sauce cup is the same sauce they use on their pizza. It's kinda sweet and it's chunky not smooth; I liked it a lot. The worker said they have gluten free options. Signage also showed a breakfast item, and it looked really yummy. Breakfast 6-11. The worker was very nice, very professional and changed gloves between services rendered, gave me an extra slice when the first one stuck to the oven and came out torn, so it was just a great first experience for sure, and I'd absolutely recommend giving it a try and give their business your patronage! Leftovers reheated really well with that hot pan and ice cube hack (lookit up), so buying a whole pie (they seemed super well priced for their size) won't go to waste if any lasts for leftovers! Parking lot is relatively small, but spacious so getting in and out isn't a problem. Yep, give it a go!
