Where do I begin. First off, I would explain that these are not just ordinary treats. We met with the super pleasant and helpful owner, Teri, and picked out a small wedding cake and a large amount of cupcakes for my entire wedding. We sampled flavors at this time. The first cupcake I tackled was a strawberry champagne cupcake. After the first bite, I actually felt my soul leave my body toward the heavens. Because we were inside at the time, I floated at the ceiling and cried watching myself enjoy this piece of heavenly dessert. My taste buds were performing a well choreographed “wave”, much like what you would see at Milan-Puskar Stadium after a WVU home game win. Each bite was packed with what I can only explain as flavors supernatural in nature. After finishing the cupcake, I descended from the ceiling hugged Teri thanking her for sharing her gift with humankind. I left that shop pleasantly exhausted from sensory overload, not to mention extra cupcakes to eat before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, I walked down the isle after the ceremony toward the reception tent. I could hear french horns, trumpets, and a choir in the background playing a celestial tune that only something divine would emit. That’s when I saw it. The wedding cake table was set, radiating light that would be the equivalent of 100 West Virginia Coal trains approaching at full speed. I felt myself being coerced into the light, only to be pulled in a different direction by my new bride.......I had to sit and salivate gazing at this beautiful spectacle for over an hour, much like an art collector would gaze at the workings of Davinci or Michelangelo. My time finally came. We carefully sliced through this decadent delight with surgical precision to feed each other our first bite. There is NO WAY we were wasting this cake by smearing it all over each other’s faces. As my bride fed me the first bite, I felt my life flash before my eyes. I knew at that moment that, if I died, all would be right in the world. Lil’ Bit of Heaven Cupcakes is not just a cupcake shop; it is a commitment. A commitment of lifelong happiness, everlasting love, and damn good treats! Teri and Dan are absolutely amazing people who are so thoughtful and accommodating. You can’t ask for better people or better...
Read moreTeri and Dan are some of the best people I know. I’m only writing that in this review because as a customer you can know without a doubt that they’ll work with you to give you the best experience possible, whether they’re making 500 cupcakes for your event or if you’re buying one pepperoni roll. If you’re not totally satisfied at first, they’ll work to make it right. But here’s the thing, I don’t know why you wouldn’t be satisfied because their cupcakes are incredible. I don’t even like cupcakes normally. I’m more of a cookie guy but Teri’s creations transcend the natural laws of cupcakery. The buttercream frosting, the creative flavor combinations, the light cupcake base that’s not overly sweet, it’s all just…better than you thought it could possibly be. And everything is made fresh from scratch. I mean like everything. Other bakeries don’t do that, and it’s a lot more work, but it’s worth it to Teri. Just go. Stop reading this right now and get in your car and go. Buy one for yourself and then buy one to take to that friend or family member you had a fight with recently and you haven’t really made up but you don’t really know how to bring it up cuz it’s awkward. Extend a hand of cupcake friendship to that person in your life. Don’t even say a single word. Because when they take a bite, the cupcake will do the talking. The buttercream is gonna whisper something straight to their soul. It’s gonna say, “Hey, everything is gonna be okay. This person loves you, and that love is worth more than all the calories in this cupcake.” And when you’re hugging and you have tears of joy in your eyes and you look skyward with a heart full of gratitude, don’t thank me. Thank Lil Bit of Heaven Cupcakes. And...
Read moreBeautiful, tasty creations. I especially like that there are keto/sugar free options and they use monkfruit instead of the unhealthy sugar substitutes. I got cheese rolls, pepperoni rolls, the keto chocolate cheesecake cupcakes (to die for!) And chiro cupcakes marked down because they were made two days earlier. Couldn't tell it by me. I put them in the fridge and the last one was consumed a week later. Delicious. They are very expensive, and you may have sticker shock when you get there. The prices aren't typical, but these creations aren't typical either. So if you're looking for a unique treat that will fill you up even though you just had one, this place has it. One note, the cheese & peperoni rolls aren't typical either. These are more like the design of a cinnamon roll and firmer than the pepperoni rolls that are dinner rolls with pepperoni imbedded in them. Not soft but very tasty and filling. ...
