I am truly disappointed in the disgusting disrespectful behavior that I experienced today. I go to the Captain D’s in St. Ann, Missouri on my lunch break for 30 minutes, probably a little less for driving which took about five minutes. But little did I know it was going to be a total disaster. Drive- thru was clear, no line, so I ordered a two piece fish special, by the way, it was suggested to me… so I said sure that sounds good. I ordered a drink with it. I pulled forward to pay and the guy at the window was pretty snippy!! What I mean by that is he asked if I wanted condiments? I paused for a moment and he said Yes or No with a major attitude. Then he said pull to a parking space ahead and someone will bring it out when it’s ready. I’m sitting for another six minutes or so, then I get out and go in. Politely asked the young girl at the register if I could get another meal that was ready because I needed to get back to work. The guy who took order tells her umm no she can’t order anything else!!! I said excuse you, I would like to order something else that’s ready. He said no… going back and forth with me about not getting anything else. I then said I would like a refund, the response was no to that as well. He said you not getting a refund, I’m busy! He said I’m backed up and you can come back or wait. Finally, the girl at the register looking petrified, because he directed her not to answer me or talk to me and to leave the register and come to the back where he was. I then asked her if she knew the number for corporate office and she did answered no. I kind of felt bad for her, because she looked like she was afraid of him. He said have a good day see you later. So basically I left the restaurant, by the way that was empty, no one was in there. How could you be backed up? I received no lunch, no refund, no receipt. Also while initially waiting in my car, he had directed three other cars after me to park as well. The problem is, I was so angry, but I kept my cool and left. But I’m definitely going to be addressing this issue with corporate office. There were so many other places around to eat, and I chose Captain D’s, what a mistake. So please be aware of this location. St. Charles Rock Road in St. Ann, Missouri. I believe the address is 10255, it’s the only one on that road. I will never step foot in there again. Captain D’s do better hiring people that aren’t people friendly. FOLLOW UP TO THIS DISASTER. Corporate office never contacted me to address any part of this issue nor did I get my refund. Read moreI went in here today to get dinner...smh...just horrible. No food safety guidelines followed At. All. One of the gentleman working in the kitchen had on gloves but, I guess out of frustration with his job, placed both hands up to his face in disgust, it seemed, with a work related matter. Therefore, touching his face, to include his nose, mouth, just everything, then, with the same gloves on, proceeded to prepare orders. Smh...another employee, female, was in the back, also preparing orders, didn't have on any gloves at all as I saw her reach up to review order tickets. The next employee, another female, came in, I assume to start her shift, walked behind the counter, then to kitchen area where she began to play with her hair trying to tie it up some how then proceeded to start preparing orders. Not one time did she walk away to at least look like she went to wash her hands. Not to mention the possibility of hair getting on food and the food prep area. After watching all of this, I made the decision to toss the food because 1. Food safety is nonexistent this food establishment, and 2. I do not feel like fighting for my life over some Captain D's fish due to food poisoning caused by improperly prepared food. I didn't even ask them for a refund only because I knew having told them the reasoning for not wanting the food it would have been an argument/fight just based on the fact that everyone seem like they didn't care or even wanted to be there especially with all the profanity being used at the time. It's shameful and disgusting that these are the type of people a restaurant owner would select to work in their restaurant....
Read moreI came through the drive-thru today and ordered a 10-piece family meal. When we arrive at the pay window we decided that we would like to add another 10-piece family meal. Which is the time we were told that we could not place the second order that we will have to go through the drive-thru again after handing her the card and waiting for the payment to go through she came back to the window and said that we could go ahead and place the second order so we did and she asked us to pull up a few feet and wait for the order. Considering we had so much fish we asked for extra tartar sauce now mind you that it's maybe 11:30 maybe 12:00 noon and we only received three tartar sauces in our bag when we checked. We asked the manager did she put extra tartar sauce in the bag as we requested .She told us that they were out of tartar sauce. This is noon there was only one car behind us. The hush puppies were cold. While the manager and my wife were getting things together about our order I took the opportunity to walk inside and take a couple of the pictures. But I think I should have stayed outside because I guess when they were talking about the hush puppies and fries no one noticed that the fish looked like it had been cooked two times it was dark and it was extra dry and hard. I can't lie when I get home I was upset when it was time to eat because I live in St.Charles county and we picked up this food in North county. $80+ so definitely will not be returning to...
