Friendly, quaint, clean, affordable, and rather tasty. The chicken wings were very tasty. We devoured them like meat loving vultures we are. The Creamy Angel Hair pasta with chicken was excellent. It was a great blend of flavor between the parmesan sauce, sun dried tomatoes, and basil. Chicken actually had flavor so it's a must add. I also added a hefty amount of red pepper flakes which helped...elevate the flavor. It came with side of garlic cheesy bread that would make any lactose intolerant individual cry with glorious anticipation. Unfortunately, Pesto Chicken Piadine was less than decent. The pesto seemed to lack the flavor we found in our other dishes and it just seemed to fall flat. We could not enhance it with parmesan nor red pepper flakes. It could've been an off day so we'll attempt it again sometime in the future as we pass through again. All in all, the prices were great and the food was mostly excellent. Check it out for affordable eats.

Great food, very friendly and helpful staff, quick service, and reasonable prices. One of the biggest challenges in Napa when you're running from one tasting to another is squeezing in a bite to eat without waiting in a rock concert-esque line while still paying an arm and a leg. This place brought out a family style salad, large pepperoni pizza, and fries for 4 of us in about 10 minutes. Total cost was a hair under $50. You're not getting French Laundry style delicacies here, but we will be coming back here for future wine trips!

Terrible service and pizza was worse! One pizza had half the slices with zero cheese pictures below. Ordered 2 family salads and got one family and one personal, forgot the basil on the margarita salad. Called to let them know and they said, “sorry about that” that’s it, no refund, no offer to replace the horrible pizza and no offer to correct the salad order. Do not bother just buy frozen pizza at Safeway you’ll be much happier.

my old review Great meatball sandwiches, and pizzas. They are a bit skimpy on the tomato sauce but they are happy to give you more you just gotta ask when ordering. Call order in,, sometimes wait time is 30 mins. They do a lot of takeout so you can always get a table.

Today's 1/15/23 review I am Soo tired of asking for extra tomato sauce that I stopped ordering Pizzas. I stopped going to Calistoga cause both their Pizza and the meatball sandwich was dry. So now I just get the meatball sandwich at StHelena. I am an airport driver and my client asked me where I was going. I told her. She immediately said I stopped going there cause there is never enough sauce on their pizza. I told her how 2 out of 5 times I ask for extra sauce I get it. She said she tried asking for extra sauce and they would never do it so she stopped going. She said she knows 3 other people that don't go there anymore cause the pizzas are too dry. So there is 5 people that no longer order your Pizzas or go to your restaurant anymore cause of this one....fixable..thing. I just had a meatball sandwich tonight and now St Helena has dry meatball sandwich s. Is saving 50¢ on sauce worth losing locals. I wonder how many other people have stopped coming due to this fixable problem???? I love the meatball sandwich. But it wasn't good without the sauce. I didn't enjoy it. I just ate it cause I paid for it and was my only choice for dinner. Very unhappy with a place I used to frequent ALOT!!!!! If I come back I will not leave without extra sauce. Quit being Soo cheap. Your only good thing is Angel and your 2 female cooks. I am a preferred Google reviewer. Most of my reviews are upbeat and positive. You had 4 stars from me. Now you have 1. It seems like several locals have written about the dryness of...

I'm 54 and grew up in St. Helena. I'm just saying that my parents hung out there as teenagers!! My daughter and my 1 year old granddaughter were with me. Therefore, I thought that La Prima was a perfect choice. Dang, was I wrong! We decided on a chicken and mushroom pizza with a garlic ranch sauce. We decided to order a grill cheese for my granddaughter. Easy!! Of course, we decided to sit outside, upstairs. Perfect!! Our order was delivered promptly and with a smile. We noticed that the grill cheese sandwich had lettuce and tomato on it. When we asked why, we were told that's just how it comes. Moving forward, there was a super thin sauce that didn't have a hint of garlic. The pizza was cooked great, and the toppings were good, but a bit more sauce with actual garlic would have been great. However, next time I'm in town, I think we will be going to Giuni's...
