Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in St. John

7/16/25. A person in my family is a very picky eater and enjoys getting just rice and beans from chipotle. So, I ordered 2 bowls and asked for white rice and double black beans. The lady working was extremely rude and gave a very small amount of black beans. I kindly asked for more and she got an attitude and said that there was no more black beans. Mind you, this was at 8:30 on a Wednesday. They close at 11. So l am unsure of why they are running out of a simple item, that many people get, without remaking some 2 1/2 hours before closing. I usually get this order as "two sides" or a "veggie 3-pointer" but this time I was charged 20 dollars as if I got 2 full bowl when I really only got white rice and a small amount of black beans. I understand that this is a fast food restaurant but customer service is still expected and there is absolutely no reason to be rude to someone when they are doing nothing but trying to get food. My sisters and I love Chipotle, we have been to many different locations numerous times. But this experience was far from great. I ordered a bowl to go. I asked for half brown rice and half white rice. The employee took the spoon, and scooped a quarter of the spoon of brown rice and a quarter of the spoon of white rice. I kid you not there were 20-30 grains of rice on the bottom of my bowl. She did not scoop the rice at all. I asked for more and she said that that is how they do it, and got snobby. Again, keep in mind that when I ask for half white and half brown rice at other locations, I get one spoonful of each. Per Chipotle- “a serving of rice is at least 4 ounces.” I would have gotten a tablespoon of rice as my dinner tonight if I did not say something. I get that this location just opened, but I am certain everyone should know how to scoop a serving of rice regardless of how long they have been working, and how long the location has been open. WORST location ever simply due to the staff. Called to have them correct their mistake and the manager refused. Made snotty remarks and said “thanks for your input, bye” and hung up. I went up there to get compensation. She refused. Said they did their job right and put the right amount of meat in the cups. The portion cup sizes are 4oz so it MUST be 4 oz automatically right? No. Got double portion of meat on the side which should be 8oz total and it equaled out to 3.9oz total (I weighed it). Paying $6 for extra meat and not getting it. She refused to refund for the portion of meat I didn’t get because they can’t measure correctly THEN she refused to give me my receipt! Said the gentleman who came in and got my bowl said no to receipt so she didn’t have to give me one. She said I was going to come back with the receipt and try to get compensation from them.
