Amigo sole is small but a humble restaurant with murals all over the walls. My experience was pretty terrible all considering. We walked in around 5:50 with a minimum amount of people in the restaurant. We ordered our food and sat at a table. The restaurant proceeded to get busier and busier and people who had ordered after us had been given their food before us. We went up to the register and asked politely when the order was going to come out (one elote and one nacho) very small order. They then said just wait. We went back to our seats and continued to wait while people continued to get their orders. The front desk lady then proceeded to our table and asked “what was your order again?” To which I told her. More people continued to get their orders so we went up and asked for a refund. Until we went up to ask for a refund because it was now 6:40 and we still hadn’t received our food did they begin to make the order. The order came out in 3-5 minutes after that even though it took over 45 to actual leave the restaurant with our food. Because it was rushed the food was subpar and honestly not very good. I don’t want to put/create harm or distraction in anyway, but my experience with amigos sole was very very...

I'm feeling hesitant sharing this review, especially since I'm not one to leave negative feedback, particularly for small businesses. However, I hope this feedback helps them reconsider their recipes and enhance their food quality.

During our visit today, my boyfriend and I ordered the Al Pastor nachos, the BBQ burger, elote, and the birria ramen.

The Al Pastor nachos were disappointing with cheese that seemed canned, overly sweet meat, predominantly chopped pineapple, and a noticeable lack of beans on the plate.

The BBQ burger was unremarkable, excessively messy, and soggy. The birria ramen was excessively greasy, making it impossible for me to consume more than a few bites. Even the elote was unexpectedly sweet and disappointing.

There's a recurring theme of excessive sweetness throughout the dishes, including the agua de Jamaica, which was overly sweet and required significant dilution with water.

Despite my disappointment with the food, I must commend the outstanding service provided by the two attentive and kind girls working there.

Amigo Sole, please consider revisiting your recipes. The food was a letdown, which is regrettable considering the...

There's no way a reasonable person would call this almost thirty dollars worth of food. Most things tasted pretty good (besides from the extremely water logged elote preparado, severely lacking in mayo that they have the audacity to charge $7 for a single ear of corn and 30 cents worth of cotija). The tortillas were great, but 4 dollars for maybbbeeee 2 oz of carnitas and a little sprinkle of onion is highway robbery. The al pastor was easily 50% canned pineapple. I'm not even a big eater, but I'm still fully hungry after finishing everything.

The tacos didn't even come with salsa. You have to purchase it on the side for a dollar.

The mangonada was the only thing of value, but I would strongly prefer half the size. It is absolutely jam packed with mango pieces, but half of them are green and I can't even get my teeth through them.

What a shame. No idea where all these 5 star reviews come from. So much potential, but an absolutely...

I paid in cash. My change should have been x dollars and 60 cents. I was given x dollars and 50 cents. When I asked about being shorted, she advised that she didn’t have a dime. A dime isn’t a big deal at all, however if you don’t have proper change that should have been communicated before taking the cash or even once you noticed that you didn’t have it. I shouldn’t have had to ask for MY change. Makes me wonder if I would have been able to buy a meal there if I was 10 cents short. The food was just ok. They loaded onions on top of my food which I was not a fan of. We ordered chips and salsa…I will tag a picture of it. Full plate of chips and very small cup of “salsa”. One lady was cooking in crocs (no socks) and there was a teen in pajamas working in the back as well. We will not be back.
