Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in St. Louis

I love the chik fil a near my house, when I moved to the college campus I was really disappointed because the food is often soggy and the service is often slow. The chik fil a near my house is very fast, very polite and professional, and always fresh. So I was a little disappointed, but it's what I would expect from a normal fast food restaurant. That alone would make the review 4 stars instead of five. The real reason I'm giving them 1 star is because the last time I went to this restaurant, I ordered a spicy chicken sandwhich and waited awhile for the meal while three of the employees there chatted in the back until 5 minutes later, the employee up front went to the back and asked them to make the sandwhich. Which is fine, no worries. Except when I got the sandwhich there was a wad of hair inside. I don't know if they were mad at me for interrupting their chat with my order, or if it was somehow an accident, but I was so grossed out that I won't...

Quick and convenient stop on campus. Cons to that "food court" style restaurant are a limited menu (no grilled chicken biscuit for breakfast), and they were out of honey when I visited. They also don't accept CFA gift cards or the CFA One app. Service was below average for a CFA, with a "what you see is what you get" comment regarding the menu. The service from the co-located Starbucks was about the same, with both leaving the impression of students who would rather be somewhere else. The facilities the two restaurants shared was impressive--spacious and clean (during an early morning visit) with indoor and outdoor seating and restrooms tucked just down a hall. Perhaps I'm being a little critical due to being spoiled by other CFAs. I'd be willing to and probably will give it a second chance as I'm back for visits later in the week. Came at 2:30 for lunch on 6/14/25. Worst chick fil a I’ve ever been to. Chicken was rubbery, appeared reheated. Waffle fries were cold. Lady at the counter was rude. Asked if we’re paying with cash or card, when stated cash, she turned around. A minute later we said we can do card and she turned around to take our order with a negative attitude.
