While it’s seemingly a nice hotel, our experience went quick from a 4 stars to a 2. From our check-in with an unenthusiastic receptionist that didn’t ask us anything (such if we want housekeeping) to a roach in our room at the end of our stay. Housekeeping was extremely loud since early in the morning and we could not sleep or rest whatsoever. They would speak loud to each other right in front of our door from 8am or would keep knocking at every door 2 times and yelling “housekeeping”. At the end of our stay, the fire alarm went off (Sunday morning - mind you) with no explanation whatsoever and barely any apology. As we prepared to check out, at 11.01 with a “do not disturb” sign at our door, housekeeping bangs on the door, which I kindly inform her we were In our way out and that we were delayed due to the fire alarm - she Ridley responded that check out is at 11am - which was one minute past due. I was a little suprised by the emergency of the situation. That said, we found out that housekeeping is not automatically done and you have to request for it. When we did, housekeeping was not done because, and I quote “there was a pair of jeans on the bed” and that stopped them from taking care of our room. Oddly enough as well, as we checked in, our shower had an empty shower gel bottle, that was not refilled prior our arrival. We had to ask for it and yet again no apologies. This hotel is seemingly nice but pays no attention to details nor its guests. I would not recommend whatsoever f

Its a brand new hotel, the check in was smooth and the front desk was super profesional yet friendly👍🏻but in our second day , when we were leaving the room the house keep lady was there we greet her and we leave, after a whole day visiting the Arch, union station, aquarium and more we came back by 11pm and the Room was not clean, can you imagine coming back to rest and the bed ,bathroom everything was undone, even the coffee maker was not working a part was missing, so we call front desk and NO BODY answered,we went to front desk and nobody but the valet parking guy, we ask him where the front desk was and he told us she was talking by phone, we then look and we saw her laughing laud inside here office with door closed but we cab hear here from the outside , finally after waiting several minutes we asker Can you please send house keeping to make our room ? But she was mad we interrupt her phone conversation, she pass her cellphone to the valet parking boy, and in a very rude and unprofessional way she only offer us towels !!!!! No apologize was offer,no assessment no customer service, i cant believe a 200 usd dolar per night hotel has low standards when treating custumers, her name is Jazmine Robinson and she never offer to move us to a clean room , we try to complain next morning but when we check out SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE ON FRONT DESK so im sorry i stay on Ac Hotel and i cant believe during the night only 2 people at the hotel THATS SIMPLY NOT RIGHT

Great location to stay in the Central West End of STL for visiting. It was a close drive to the Missouri Botanical Garden and there is a stretch of bars and restaurants nearby that are walkable. THE ROOM was nice but could use a careful cleaning. They missed a corner cleaning and we saw some coffee splash marks on the wall by the left side of the bed. There was also a small crack in the shower, bottom by where the sliding door closed. We wished the bathroom mirror light was brighter for makeup and the movable reading lights by the bed had some residue buildup on them. Service was good. We ran out of conditioner during our stay and asked for more towels. The staff brought us more towels and conditioner timely. There's a parking garage right next to the hotel that you can self park at for $15 a day.

Where to begin. I have never written a review for anything before in my life, but my experience here was so bad I had to. Check in went fine, hotel interior is beautiful. Got up to our room and everything looked fine. My dad went to do his hair in the bathroom and the door to the bathroom broke, trapping him inside. Not even kidding. Door is a thick tempered glass barn door sliding door. Had to call the front desk. Maintenance came up a few minutes later and had to leave 2 times for tools and had to get another person. After about 30 minutes my dad was able to get out, but the door was still broken. (Off the tracks). We did not miss our dinner reservation, and the staff was very apologetic. Maintenance fixed the door while we were at dinner. Door never moved smoothly or properly though, so we did not close the door fully for the rest of our stay. Got back that night and wanted to tune out the loud neighbors (adjoining room) and sounds in the hallway (terrible sound proofing) so we turned on the tv. Didn’t work. After 20 min of messing with the tv we gave up as there were no channels. At check out, we notified a staff member that the TV doesn’t get any channels, and they replied “oh yeah, I feel like half our rooms don’t get any channels, I should really tell maintenance about that,”. They made it clear this has been a reported problem for quite a while that they have no intention of fixing. Astounded at the numerous issues at a hotel at this price point. No coffee available before 7am. No fan in bathroom. Valet is $30, public parking ramp right across hotel entrance is $15 a day and worked great for us. Dad bought ice cream from the lobby and all they had to eat it with were plastic forks and knives. General impression was this hotel chose beauty over function. Again, staff was very nice, hotel was not. Would not ever go back and will be warning others against visiting. I would post photos, but do not wish for staff members in the photos to be punished for the failings they aren’t...

My experience with this hotel was my company made a reservation but since they did not put my name on one of the rooms I was told I had to use my credit card and then after two to four days I will get a refund for $270 because by then my job should have been charged for it so it was after 5:30 going on 6 I was tired my boss would be there maybe after 7:30 or 8 so I walked back to my car and paid for parking again to get out I don't know why this hotel for parking they saying valet is 35 a day but you can go across the street and pay 15 but if you lose your card the parking lot charges you $30 so my boss finally shows up and then we proceed to meet other persons at another hotel so she can check them in first and then go back to our after so we meet them at their hotel and guess what they already have roomkey the hotel just ask for her to swipe the card Now the girl at the Desk explain to me and AC that she could lose her job by checking me in but I knew that was a lie this wasn't my first time being checked in using a company credit card and this wasn't the first time my boss had used this over and over again and the card was on file so I will not use this hotel again but I do recommend the scenery in this location and the restaurants but I don't like liars I have always checked in with my confirmation and had no problem I was too tired to argue I had worked a long shift that day and what's so terrible is the girl was there when I returned with my boss and she never look at me at all she just explained everything to my boss I was never comfortable in this room the only thing I liked was the safe the shower didn't drain to slow was horrible didn't work right there was no true instructions on how to make this shower work and one piece of advice put shower caps in the bathroom if you have a rain shower and the price for your breakfast is ridiculous for cheese and...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and daughter while visiting St. Louis and WashU. The good: the staff was friendly and helpful. I saw a few reviews say the staff could care less, but I did not find that to be true. Everyone we encountered was helpful and accommodating. We ended up having to switch rooms twice. The first because we were put into a room that adjoined to another, where the tv was on so loud we could barely hear each other in our room, plus there were kids across the hall that were loud and running around crazy. We were given a new room which was much quieter but as soon as we walked in we noticed the toilet was running. It would stop for a minute and then run water again, over and over. They were very nice about us switching again, to the last room they had available. The location is great, really liked the area. The bad: Whoever designed this hotel did so in a way as to squeeze out every bit of profit possible with zero considerations for guest experience. The rooms are very small and badly designed. The lighting is absolutely terrible, the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel and we have traveled to 3 different cities this month alone. There is no privacy whatsoever. The rooms, even the double queens, are only suitable for 1 person. The spaces are so narrow it's impossible to have more than 1 person walking around getting ready. The furnishings/bathroom fixtures were not good quality and seemingly hard to keep clean for the staff. The bathroom walls were dirty, the sliding bathroom door was dirty. We were miserable in our room and could not wait to leave. Would not recommend for more than 1 guest per room and even then there are better options...
