Everything is good. The special fried rice has tons of veggies and meat, the hot braised chicken was actually stellar 11/10. Sweet and just a bit spicy. Tons of food for your money too The hot braised chicken was classic and just a tad extra spicy so that was a nice different touch, The general tso came with a bunch of amazing broccoli cooked perfectly and much bigger prices (some dark meat but tasted great) and fewer of them but that was a nice different touch as well. Sweet and Sour shrimp was huge and great. Only about 8 big prices for a while order but they were huge so it was a whole order actually. Whole orders are $10 which is definitely fair. They charge a bit more for their canned sodas but they have to pay the bills and we know they are high. I work in restaurants even fine dining cant make it sometimes you really gotta appreciate how I got like 6 pounds of all this delicious food cooked for only $50 bucks. That's a deal these days for sure.

TASTES LIKE RUBBER,THREW WHOLE PLATE AWAY 🙅🏻‍♂️ The whole meal was over priced in my opinion. After taking a few bites I was disappointed to say the least (even the egg roll tasted like rubber) I called them immediately asking for a refund the owner responded saying she would only give credit or remake order. So that’s kind of lame since the food was so inedible (plastic and synthetic tasting). Obviously I wouldn’t want more if it’s not good. - I think places like these stay open because people from the surrounding area are used to eating low income trash and don’t know what real food should taste like. I will not be ordering again. Cost : $13 Edit: added price

Just ordered the General Tso's for lunch and it Must have been the worst Chinese I've ever had... chicken was huge super chewy chunks. Rice had almost no flavor and crab raccoons were terrible... I seriously threw it away and made a turkey sandwich at home instead. Worst $28 ever spent. Go to STL kitchen by the Schnucks in maplewood for your Chinese instead. You won't be disappointed.

Listen. People who review this place poorly largely don’t understand St. Louis chop suey culture. I’ve been coming here for 20 years, the food is good, and the owner is an extremely pleasant woman. You’ll always see her at the counter, taking orders with a smile. This place is still standing after other stores in that plaza (Sams, Payless, Kmart, etc) have closed over the years. It’s been able to remain because it’s genuinely one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Over the years I’ve recommended this place to friends/family and they’ve also been pleased. I wish more locals who frequented this place over the years could chime in, these reviews do not accurately depict what this place is. The service is timely and pleasant. The food is consistently good, and fairly priced. There’s also a nice 20+ year old public library next door that’s a great way to kill time if you have to wait! I can’t believe this barely has 3 stars. Don’t let these reviews describing quite literally, anomalous experiences deter you from trying this place. It’s absolutely worth it and a staple of Dogtown.

Ps: Third-party delivery services cause a LOT of problems for both customers and small businesses. These services rob local restaurants blind (to the point some of them LOSE $ on some orders!) but restaurants know they can’t survive in this climate without them. So seriously, go at Grubhub and DoorDash about your inconveniences about wait times and money mixups, they count on you shouting at the restaurant staff...

6/27/2019 First time ordering..I was a bit nervous about ordering delivery because of the reviews, I’m glad I gave them a try..the driver arrived early, he was very friendly..they followed my request to the T...the fried rice was delicious..so were the vegetable egg rolls...the crab Rangoon was okay not gross just not for me..overall I’m very satisfied with my meal and will definitely be ordering again...hopefully the food is just as good next time. 09/18/2019 tried the hot braised chicken wings..they were pretty good..would definitely order again..the rice was a bit on the salty side today but not unbearable...the vegetable eggs rolls were still delicious and they followed my...
