Heard about this place couple of weeks ago, and this week I decided to go get some slims chicken. Tried to order online so that I pick it up but there was a message saying that the place has so many orders and can’t do I kind orders I arrived there and went into the drive through. There were few cars ahead of me which didn’t take long and I used this time to take a look at the menu which wasn’t that helpful to be honest, and I was surprised that they only have chicken strips. No bone in and no wings. Or so I believed. That was shocking specially that when I checked the website later in they had wings. So I ordered the hungry meal ”7 strips 1 side buttered bread, 2 dipping sauces and a drink“ for my dipping sauces I ordered the garlic Parmesan and the slim sauce. And I got one of their desserts in a jar. Then I purchased one of each sauces they got . Sadly they didn’t give me one of each although I’ve paid for it. There were 3-4 missing. Another thing that I found out when I arrived home is that the soda was out of syrup, so it was flavorless and like a club soda🥴🤢. But my top three sauces (of the ones I got) would be honey mustard, mango habanero and Korean BBQ. The highlight of this experience would be the dessert. I ordered the chocolate brownie pudding jar. That by itself is worth going. And they would give you the jars that has slims chicken logo on them that was outstanding. As for the food, it wasn’t anything special that is worth mentioning. Here's what happened...My fiancee ordered a large family meal for our family on mother's day for us to eat at the park. He spent over $80 on the food and beverage. The family meal was supposed to include sauces to go along with all the chicken we purchased. After leaving the restaurant and making it to the park we sat down to eat and realized the sauces were nowhere to be found. My fiancee wanted to go back to the restaurant but I said to call to see what would be done if we did because going back would mean that our food would be cold just to go get the sauce that should have already been in the bag. So when I called I spoke with a young lady and told her what the situation was to see what could be done if anything. She said she would speak to her manager. She then came back on the phone to say that the only thing they would do is give us extra sauces and that's it. I told her that it would be pointless for us to return just for us to get sauces that were already paid for when we would not be able to eat our food due to it being cold. It's sad that the manager didn't even try to speak with me themselves, they just left it up to the young lady to handle the situation. The issue was not resolved and next time instead of going to this slim chicken location I would rather sit in a long line at Cane's instead. I ordered for delivery, 2 macaroni bowls with a large soda and a strawberry shake today after watching a commercial and thinking I might give it a try. I got my food but no beverages. They give you the delivery driver's number after you order in case there are any issues. As soon as I realized the mistake, I contacted the delivery driver only to find out that the number is not a working number!
When I called the store, no one answered and the mailbox was full. I am aware that they use Doordash, but since I ordered from the website, it doesn't come up as a previous order from my Doordash account, so I can't file my complaint with Doordash and must instead use the restaurant's platform to do so. The cherry on the cake was the second-rate quality of the food.
Seriously, don't waste your time. I should've read the critical reviews before ordering, because it seems like this is the standard of service. I emailed them, but I'm not expecting a response any time soon, if at all.
I wish I could give this a zero star review based on the lack of service alone. It is preposterous that you wouldn't be able to get ahold of anyone if your order is incorrect, and that I haven't been the only one with this problem, by a long shot. It seems they do a great job of taking your money, and that's where it ends. Had it only been the quality of the food, I wouldn't have even bothered writing the review.
