Eni's Pizzeria — Restaurant in St. Louis

My wife and I have been having these really heated arguments lately where I want pizza and she wants Mexican, she always ends up threatening to slit my throat and I always threaten to leave her for my best friend, Kyle. Then I cave and we get Mexican from somewhere and then I sleep with both eyes open. Well....Eni's now has both pizza and Mexican food! The pizza is some of the best in the area, maybe even the world. I've been to Chesterfield so I feel like I have traveled the world and can safely say Eni's is definitively the best. The Mexican food is amazing as well, and I feel like I am a bit of an expert on Mexican food because I took 2 years of Spanish in high school. I always do carry-out because I live like 30 seconds away from the place, but the actual restaurant is really nice. All the people who work there are really nice too. I have never once been sack tapped by anyone and that's very unusual for me. I think I just have the kind of face where someone sees me and wants to sack tap me immediately, but I think they are just too nice that they don't even consider it. And for that I am grateful. This was a let down after reading some of the reviews. First, it was very warm inside I assume because of the wood oven. There was no air movement at all. I ordered the hamburger pizza with mushrooms and my friend ordered the Eni's special after the server suggested it was the best The server came back a few min later and said they were out of the smoked meat that made the Eni's pizza their house special. He substituted pepperoni. When the pizzas arrived they looked delicious with puffy crispy crust but the toppings on mine were very sparce. My friend pointed out that his had 2 halfs of a cherry tomato in the entire pizza. The crust was pretty good, tender and crispy on the edges but the sauce was flavorless. If I had not seen it on the edge I would have suspected they forgot it. I'm not sure how but it didnt even have tomato flavor. We each finished half and took the rest home. I'm going to try to doctor mine up but my friend said I could throw his away. I dont see a return trip I'm...

WOW!!! What a marvelous pizzeria with a wonderful owner! We dined here tonight for the first time, having discovered it on a list of the best pizza places around St. Louis. It definitely deserves all of the praise and more! The pizza was fantastic, with the perfect mix of fresh bell peppers/olives/mushrooms, perfectly-flavored red sauce, cheese, and high-quality, smoked beef, the latter being a first for me. The dining space is inviting, warm, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean. The owner was delightful and kind, and we very much enjoyed conversing with him. I look forward to dining on the beautiful patio when it is warmer! I forgot to mention the pizza dough/crust, which was also exquisite! (I love dough from a wood-fired oven, but sometimes it can be overdone. Not here!!!)

Do yourself a favor and dine at Eni’s. Yes, you could just take a pizza home, but it’s really enjoyable to eat at an establishment like...
