Fresh Gatherings Cafe + Farm — Restaurant in St. Louis

I love the idea of fresh gatherings. The cute drinks, fancy food that I have never heard of, the environment, it all sounds great. And it is for the most part :) I will say that fresh food is definitely overpriced especially with the target demographic of college students but obviously you know that the students are gonna pay anyways either bc it’s daddy’s money, or they want food and it’s the only option on south campus. Either way, good for you for making that bank. Also, as much as I admire the boldness and creativeness, last year fresh definitely made a lot of their dishes worse because it felt like they tried to hard to take their own twist on the dishes and it wasn’t executed amazingly. Sometimes less is more ya know? But overall, love the drinks, love being there and that y’all always have good music playing, and when a dish is good at fresh, it’s GOOD. I have been eating at fresh gatherings on SLU’s campus since day one of my freshman year. This place is BEYOND incredible and does not even compare to any place on a college campus anywhere!!!! It does indeed live up to its name of being fresh as they have a garden on campus with lots of fresh produce. Fresh gatherings gets me through my day, and I know I can count on a yummy cold brew with vanilla oat milk cold foam to help me pass my test. The burrito bowls, fried rice, hummus bowls, pad Thai, and literally everything they make are to die for. i’ve been coming to Fresh Gatherings ever since I was a freshman in college! It’s always been a go-to spot for my friends and I before class, to catch up with each other, or to study! Fresh is honestly my favorite spot to grab coffee, breakfast burritos, and trying out different types of food! It’s also always exciting to see their weekly specials because it gives me something to look forward to
