Hardee’s — Restaurant in St. Louis

So we went to this Hardee’s on Saturday March 31st at around 5pm with no customers to be seen anywhere. When we walked in we observed a gentleman wearing the outfit sitting on top of the table. And nobody behind the counter at that time. When we were at the counter about 4 employees came out of an office and continued to stare at us like we were doing something wrong and none of them actually greeted us at all. The coworker I was with ordered a large drink but they ended up getting confused by the order and didn’t know how to run a credit card. After they finally finished charging his card it was my turn. I decided I’d just get a drink too because I didn’t see any food prepared and was worried it would take forever so I can’t speak on how the food was personally. They didn’t seem to be happy to have a job let alone be happy they had customers. I paid with cash to which they shorted me $5 but I caught it before I left and the lady I spoke with wanted to argue that she gave me a 5. But I was supposed to get $17 back not $12. Then she looked at me like I was stupid. After we left there my coworker had 2 charges on his credit card for the drink $2.19 then he had another charge he didn’t place worth $14 which he will dispute that with his bank rather go back and argue with them. What should’ve been a quick in and out visit since we only got 2 drinks turned into a 15 minute visit. Anyone going here needs to be careful and count your cash and watch what they’re doing with you...

I came here for breakfast on Thursday 10/17 around 10 am. I was pleasantly surprised because they actually was very quick with my order. I had their 2 for $5 breakfast special, which I ordered a sausage and egg biscuit and a biscuit and gravy. Not only was I waited on and served quickly. But my food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I'll definitely be going back for this special soon. And I also would recommend either ordering this deal or something else off of their breakfast menu. Because in my humble opinion, Hardee's probably has the best breakfast out of all the fast food places.

I came here on a Friday night around 11 pm because their drive thru is open 24 hours and most other restaurants are closed by 11 pm. The wait was beyond ridiculous. I waited 30 minutes to just order. Then another 15 minutes to get my food, and no this is not an exaggeration! I ordered the $5.99 brown bag special with 2 double cheeseburgers. I upgraded to a large which with tax was just about $2 more and worth it. The food was hot and delicious, and the girl at the take out window was apologetic for the wait and very nice, bubbly and pleasant to speak with. Part of the wait wasn't the employee's fault. Although, they definitely weren't in a rush to get anything done fast. I'll probably go back and recommend this restaurant, maybe just not this late if you're in a rush. If you're not, like I wasn't, it's worth the wait. Especially, since their $5.99 brown bag special filled my tummy...

I went at 11:15 to get lunch and the breakfast menu was up in the drive thru. I asked if they were still serving breakfast and they said no. It ends at 10:30. Then she said what do you want and I said I don't know because your breakfast menu is still up. She got upset with me and said she would have someone come change it in a little bit and asked me what I want again. She told me to figure it out. I was pissed. I said nevermind and drove away. I called and asked for the manager and she would not give me her name. The conversation was not pleasant for either of us. I will never go back. This restaurant is horrible. I did try the red bean burrito just to try something different and it was actually pretty good I am surprised and the prices were reasonable so they have come a long way since the last time I was there. I know it looks horrible and that little burrito had hardly anything on it but it was only $2.45 so the look of it was nasty but it was pretty good I would definitely try it again they were not as rude this time as they were the last time. I've been there twice sence and no service. They always say there system is down....
