0000 stars. My family and I stopped in here at the end of a nice day visiting St. Louis, it seemed like a nice option for coffee lovers so we thought weād try it out. I ordered my go-to cold brew ( expecting strong coffee) I asked for some honey and a splash of milk. What I received was a sickeningly sweet form of iced coffee the color and quality of which was grey in appearance and worse than McDonaldās in flavor. I could tell right away by the color that it wasnāt a strong or good quality cold brew , but I wasnāt upset bc I know cold brews vary from place to place. I went to the counter to exchange it for a coffee instead. The barrista angrily told me there was nothing wrong with my drink, that he had made it exactly the way I told them to. Then he told me I must buy a new drink. ( I hadnāt asked for a freebee, I was going to buy a different drink anyway). He then proceeded to argue with me that there is nothing wrong with the quality of their coffee and that if I had wanted something different I should have said that, he went on talking about their coffee not letting me speak until my spouse came to see what the problem was, once my husband stepped in the barrista (noticeably irritated, even rolling his eyes) offered to remake the drink, but my husband tried to tell him it was the quality of the cold brew ,not the way the drink was poured that was the problem. the barrista then proceeded to argue with my husband too! At this point the tone and haughty attitude of the barrista had completely ruined the experience. They gave us glaring looks until we packed up our kids and left. Horrible experience, we ended up dumping the coffee and feeling it a complete...

I think they use their "Amp'd Up" blend for the cold brew. They also offer their cold brew on nitro. Hot coffee is only offered in batch brew for the two varieties they are offering that day. There is no pour over menu which is somewhat disappointing since they have such a variety of roasted coffees and many other coffee places around town now offer pour over coffee.
Their whole bean coffee they they roast in house is usually a pretty good bet for brewing at home. They offer blends, varietals, decaf, and flavored coffee for purchase. A bag sells for anywhere from $13-19. If buying whole bean coffee look at roasting dates a few times I've purchased a bag that was over a month past the roasting date.
Gooey butter cake runs around $17-18 for a cake which is about right considering the quality and variety of flavors they offer.

We tried each others & both thought each others was equally as good as what we ordered. My latte was smooth and perfect. His drink was SO tasty. We were greeted very warmly and the barista was patient with us as we decided what we wanted to order. I never mind waiting for a good cup of coffee but they were quick! I love how they have a little table of things you can browse while you wait, & I will so be going back for a coffee cup I saw. I ordered a cappuccino chocolate chip muffin and husband got the banana bread. The gooey butter cake especially the red velvet looked so good but thought it would be more of an afternoon thing... I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! We found a new favorite joint. Husband also purchased some beans- we love supporting...
