These cookies are great. Nothing wrong with them one bit. love them actually. We have recently stopped going there (we used to be in there every week) until they started acting like my mother was an inconvenience. Do they know she has dementia? no. But she needs a little longer making choices and the older lady up front makes her feel like she was being a burden. No one was in the store any of these times but us. This is something she used to look forward to. She enjoyed picking her cookies out. Plus with all your rotations it’s a little hard for me to order ahead for her. You made her feel worthless

Now, this time, my fiancé went to get her some cookies and was turned away when there was plenty of cookies left and others on the rack. Seemingly because it was close to closing time.

Although I haven't been into the shop, I can only imagine that the Atmosphere matches the calm and pleasing demeanor of the co-owner that I had the pleasure of meeting today. The cookies themselves are amazing! Their Snickerdoodles are now my #1 go to.

On a side note...the co-owner was in my place of employment, which deals with the public, taxes and automobiles. She was pleasant, patient and very understanding. And AFTER waiting for her turn for over 2 hours, she left after conducting her business, AND THEN came back with cookies for me and my coworkers---who were all very touched by such a gesture. So....Thank You Penny and Pearl's! You gained some cookie-eating...

The best cookies EVER!! Creme brulle is the my "go-to* dessert. The way this place managed to put it into a cookie is not only brilliant but dangerously close to heavenly perfection! I bought 3 dozens. Upon having eaten my first, I didn't contain myself and wanted to share some with a few of my coworkers. 18 cookies later, I think I created a creme brulle army of followers. Words such as "exquisite", "decadent" and "scrumptious" were used by some, others with a less "literary" approach stated they were "f-----g awesome" and "f-----g crazy good".
