Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - St. Matthews — Restaurant in St. Matthews

I have been going to Taziki’s weekly for over a year and have always been impressed. I love their shrimp Greek salad and Taziki dip. Last night however has changed my perception and I am doubtful I will ever return. As everyone is aware we are in the middle of a global pandemic and they are not taking the proper precautions to ensure food safety. I had ordered my food for curbside pick up and received it in a timely manner. When I got home I opened my Taziki dip and dumped my soft pita bread out in the to-go box. I ate a few pieces and as I lifted up my 3rd piece of bread a DEAD FLY rolled out from in between the bread and was laying in the box! I about threw up from the sight. About 2 minutes after I had found the dead fly, my daughter who had also ordered a Taziki dip found hairs in her dip!!!! I went back to Taziki’s and the manager Ophila offered to make my food over again. By that point I had lost my appetite and I asked for a full refund but never received it....

Ten RSM teachers had a wonderful end of the school year celebration there. We ordered humus with pita, humus with vegies, tsatsiki source with pita, tsatsiki source with vegies, lamb gyros with cucumbers and tomato salad, chicken kabobs, grilled potato, grilled salmon and grilled chicken breast feasts, grilled veggies served vegan style, Ceasars salad, side of fresh fruit, baklava for desert and a bottle of red wine. Everything was delicious. A huge thank you to Ryann for helping us plan our event, Andrew for making the vegetarian dish vegan and making sure every dish tasted and looked great, Parker for getting our complicated order right the first time, a cute petit waitress for checking on us, bringing extra plates, knives, and taking a good picture. Charged me $49.78 for 4 Gyros without sides. Told them over the phone i did not want sides. Arrived at store they rang up my order and tried to give me 4 dinners without the sides. They charged me as if i had the sides just the same. Told them to cancel my order. They said ok and i took my debit card. This is day 3 and I'm still waiting to have my money refunded. The Manager is saying it was a computer glich. An employee embezelled my money and the manager is covering for her. The Asst Manager swears she nevere rang my order. They did not even care that 2 police officers were sitting right there at the time of the altercation and witnessed the whole scam. Furthermore..there Gyros were the smallest Gyros I'vw every...
