If I could leave 0 stars I would. Don’t get me wrong I love bagels & beyond honestly they are the best around. It’s the service that is really getting to me. My coworkers & I order from here I would say almost every week, sometimes even twice a week. Every single time there is an issue. If you order a bagel they don’t have at the time, they wait until you get there to pick it up to tell you that they don’t have that kind, instead of calling back immediately to tell you. I worked & managed a local restaurant for the better half of 4 years, the customer service here sucks. I would NEVER allow my employees to talk to customers the way they do at this establishment. For example today (7/25/23) I called & placed an order for 6 bagels. She takes my order, rushes the entire time & ends the call with “you’re order #_ click” no thank you, no see you soon, just a dial tone letting me know she hung up. customer service has always been incredibly important to me, I am always kind on the phone (thank you, please, take your time etc) so there is never a reason on the rudeness. I am one of the people that understand running a restaurant is hard and know that people can be tough, but there is just no excuse anymore. These are just 2 examples out of MANY more. I’m honestly just done ordering from this establishment until they can find employees that actually want to work. It’s not rocket science. Read moreClown show! Customer service is non existent here. The girl that waited on me although clean and wore gloves seemed annoyed I walked in and ruined her morning. I tipped her and she never said thank you. But more outrageous was 2 other employees conduct behind the counter, a tall blonde girl and a hispanic looking male that came out from the back yawning, laughing and rubbing his hands through his hair. The blonde girl took an order from an elderly gentleman that came in after me then handed it off to Pedro when he came out from the back. (I think this kid was high). Pedro (my name for him here) again asked the guy what he wanted and told the man he was deaf, and he and the blonde started laughing and then he said to the older guy "I'm not really deaf" and he and the girl thought that was funny yet again. The old guy seemed confused and just wanted his order and leave. Pedro never washed his hands after rubbing his scalp and fluffing up his hair. After the guy left, Pedro started to tell the blonde girl something, they looked at me looking at them, he stopped and he said, I'll tell you later. Read moreI called ahead to place my order and was not able to complete my order (I wanted to add another bagel and 2 iced coffees) because they hung up on me before I had the chance. Fast forward 10 minutes, I go to pick up my order and tell them I would like to add the bagel and 2 iced coffees. The person ringing me up shoved the ticket in my face and said “that’s not on your ticket”. Of course it’s not because I wasn’t able to finish my order before the phone call was ended. I was very polite as I work in food service myself so I understand how difficult it can be to deal with customers at times. So they make the bagel and the employee hands me 2 hot coffees (I asked for iced). Simultaneously, the owner was making my iced coffees ie. very disorganized place. So after the coffees are made, the owner asks if the employee charged us for the coffees (very poor service, you don’t do that in front of customers). They couldn’t figure out what the kid rang us up for so the owner threw the coffees at us and said “whatever just take them”. She was clearly very frustrated but that is no way to treat customers.
