Had high hopes for this new establishment after reading the good reviews and loving the former restaurant that used to be there. Unfortunately I will not be returning and cannot recommend them. Went with a group of 9. Nobody ordered anything complex and 4 of the meals were kids meals. Took 40 minutes for the food to come out and the 2 tables in the restaurant that were occupied had their food when we sat down. Nobody gave an explanation and just avoided our table until the food came out. When it did come out a grilled chicken salad was missing the chicken and had no dressing, the steak for the carne asada was riddled with fat and bland, the fajitas had unseasoned shrimp on a skewer that were laid on top of burnt steak and chicken that were lumped together with burnt peppers and onions and the most flavorless guacamole I've ever had. Everyone else's dishes were bland and unimpressive. The salad was sent back and we were told it would be taken off the bill. But when the bill came it was not. There are far better places in the...
Read moreMy first visit to El Rinconcito with my husband was a delightful experience. Nestled in a great location, this cozy spot exudes warmth and charm. The ambiance enveloped me, creating an inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a memorable meal. The food, oh the food! It was nothing short of exceptional. I indulged in the Tacos Pork Belly—the best Tacos ever. Each bite was a revelation, and I found myself savoring every bite. Meanwhile, my husband opted for the Veggie Burrito, and he, too, was thoroughly impressed. So much so that he insisted on capturing the moment with a picture. The portions were generous—fitting for a feast shared among loved ones. And speaking of love, our server was an absolute gem. Accommodating, friendly, and attentive, they added a personal touch to our dining experience. El Rinconcito is a hidden gem for Mexican cuisine enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned aficionado or a curious newcomer, this restaurant deserves a spot on your culinary map. Highly...
Read moreI’ve been a regular at this spot for a while, but after the recent change in management, I’m honestly not sure I’ll be coming back. First off, the food is okay, but nothing special. It’s decent for the price. If you’re craving something quick and cheap, it’ll do, but for a higher-quality meal, you’re better off heading over to La Cabañita. However, I have to give credit where it's due—the waitress that used to work there was hands down the highlight of the meal. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Honestly, her service was better than the food. She deserved a raise, because she was the only thing that kept all my dining experiences from being a complete disappointment. It’s a shame she no longer works there. Until then, La Cabañita is where I’ll be getting my fix of better food and...
