I had my son's birthday party there and had 16 children. When I walked in the girl that worked there was on her cell phone talking setting up a table and didn't look up at me even though I had all birthday items in my hand. I then walked up to a young kid who had his face buried in his phone. I asked him where my party was and he responded "uh i guess over there". I walked up to the girl who was setting up the tables (it is now 12:15 and party starts at 1pm) and I had some questions for her. She was actually annoyed that she had to tell the person on the call (Mark) that he had to hold. Every time I asked her a question she would shrug her shoulders and say yes I guess, it's up to you. The condescension and lack of professionalism was unbelievable. I held my tongue because this was my son's birthday party. I had strict rules you only bowl until 2 and pizza is delivered and you eat. At 2:05pm still no pizza in site and 16 5 year olds running around I went up to inquire with my mother in law. We didn’t bother asking the guy because again his face was buried in his phone so we asked Cheery and she said we don’t control the pizza and again shrugged her shoulders. I said well I will call them and ask them where they are. I called Ray’s pizza directly to find out the status of my pizza. The pizza finally comes and she comes out with 2 bottles of soda. When I booked the party I was told juice and soda was an option. I of course chose juice and even mentioned this to her when I got there. (I guess she didn’t hear me because she was on the phone). I said I need juice not soda and she AGAIN shrugged her shoulders and said I don’t do the ordering we don’t have any juice left. Next issue was I ordered extra pizza for the parents of the children attending the party. I went up to the desk because they didn’t give me the plates and napkins for them. She then proceeds to tell me that the Pizzeria doesn’t send plates and napkins and that the paper I was given it states that I was responsible. (I pulled that paper out and no where on there does it say I am responsible for pizza plates for pizza that I paid extra for.) She said oh yeah I thought it was on there. I have never seen someone so unprofessional in my life. I guess the owner of the bowling alley doesn’t care that he has these types of people working for him. I am just glad that the parents that were at my party 28 of them all commented to me on the...
Read moreThis bowling alley is a joke now they used to be such a great place to go but I had to change it from 5 to 1 star bc of the fact the lady working there Friday night was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional I went there with 2 friends and my 6 year old brother we asked to get bumpers bc my brother needed them and the lady opened the bumpers in one lane and gave us another and we asked her before we did anything if this would cost extra using 2 lanes and she said no so everything was good we had a good time and my brothers lane ended while we were in the middle of a game my brother was throwing balls in the lane that was finished keeping himself busy while we were finishing when we went up to pay the lady told us it was $55 which was insane for just one game and she told us that apparently my little brother throwing balls in the game that was over caused it to go up and we tried talking to her and she kept cutting us off I was trying to explain that his game was over it ended and we were in the middle still if this was it she should’ve told us in the first place she was extremely rude and inconsiderate and not one bit helpful there were many other ways to handle the situation right but her cutting us off and ignoring our concerns and explanations was completely unprofessional and I will not be returning neither...
Read moreOn a rainy day in my pals needed something to do, so we decided to take a trip to the local bowling alley. Thunderbird lanes was our destination and upon arrival we were greeted with a classic feeling bowing alley aesthetic. After a few minutes in line we received our shoes (which were a little oversized but not a huge problem) and we made our way over to our lane. The technology is a bit outdated for 2017 so it took a bit of time to get our names into the system (an upgrade isn't necessary, but it would be very very appreciated). The lanes are a bit narrow and in desperate need of refurbishing. I haven't been too a lot of bowling alleys in my day but it was clear these lanes were far from regulation. In the end, I received an average experience with my friends. For a decent time when you're bored, thunderbird lanes isn't a bad choice, but if you're looking for a bowling experience aimed more towards an older crowd, a different bowling alley is...
