Stafford Kabab and Grill — Restaurant in Stafford

The place was empty. I asked if they just opened guy said yes. I ordered Chicken Biryani asked a few questions but the guy has trouble with his hearing apparently ans is hard to talk with. I still ordered even tho I was leery. Guy tells me 13 dollars and it should be ready in 5 min! I’m thinking to my self how yall just opened but I still go with it. He indeed brings the food in maybe 4 minutes and I go home. When I open the Styrofoam container the rice is dry and and the chicken with bones is dry as well and it looks old and some of the rice is hard from being at the bottom of the pot over cooked. It was awful and you can tell this meat & rice has been sitting for days they were closed on thanksgiving so I’m sure it was just sitting around. My wife insisted I do a google review to show others. My wife and I shared the Stafford Mix Platter and loved everything on it. It came with a lot of goodies. One chicken seekh kabab, one beef seekh kabab, chicken tikka, one beef/bihari boti, flavored rice and naan bread. The young man that waited on us wanted to know if we wanted mild or spicy, my wife requested mild and since I wanted her to help me eat it....I concurred, there were a few items with a tad more heat than she liked but one of the sauces with yogurt in it toned it down. I didn't need anything else but the food was so good I had to try some kheer, rice pudding, glad I did. It was so tasty my wife's one bite turned into 4 or 5. Loved the service, the owner was a very sweet guy, very attentive and polite, he took our order and made our food!Loved the food here! My husband and I ordered butter chicken,chicken tikka masala, garlic naan( which was the best I’ve ever had, very fluffy and flavorful) we also ordered rice . Everything was super affordable, the garlic naan was only $3 for a big order, and the rice was really good and flavorful as well. My butter chicken was so delicious and a good amount for $13.99, over all the food is better than Tarka Indian food (would not recommend, it’s expensive and not nearly as half as good).
