Corbo's Southside Deli — Restaurant in Stamford

If I were able to choose 0 stars… I WOULD! I placed an order on their website which states “allow 45 mins for delivery” ok… after allowing an hour to go by I called the deli and the man on the phone stated “the driver will be there in 10 mins, we’re a little busy” I said “okay”, because it was during the hours of lunch so I wasn’t surprised about the small delay. ANOTHER HOUR went by and I called and the same man picks up and says “oh I spoke with you already” and I say “yes an hour ago and the food still hasn’t arrived” at that moment he txts the drivers while I remain on the phone, he came back and said “neither of the drivers has the food, I guess the ticket never printed out”…….. so WHY was I told the driver would arrive in 10 mins if the food never went out?!.. his response was “I assumed it went out”. Not apologetic at all, didn’t offer an option. I obviously just asked for my money back. Honestly an hour for delivery is bad enough but to have me waiting 2 hours just to find out my food was never even made is just horrible. This used to be my go to spot and I refuse to eat here...

have never left a poor review however the price gauging is crazy here! order a simple turkey and cheese sandwich with lettuce for nearly $13. theres maybe 2 slices of turkey on it every time. it’s so thin and you can go to any other deli and get the same sandwich, thicker, for $7-8. gatorade is almost $4. i got a sandwich, gatorade and chips and was $20. i used to eat here every day, sometimes for both breakfast and lunch until i literally could not afford it and wasn’t even satisfied with the food. the staff is rude and look absolutely miserable except for Rachel at the register (she’s very sweet). the owner replied to a negative review telling someone to “enjoy their walk” which is oddly immature for a business owner. HOWEVER, harbor point pizza (same location) is great and the man that makes the pizzas is such a gem. absolutely love that guys hospitality and will continue to support...

I went there today and service was terrible. I was with my dog (still a puppy), and didnt want to put her on the ground so when I ordered I asked if they can bring my food outside. The woman at the cash register gave me an attitude and said "well just hold on one minute". She told me I needed to grab my own waters, while clearly seeing I had my hands full with my pup. I would have tipped for bringing my food outside of course but they didn't do it. Not to mention she took forever taking a phone order while the line was super long. She had curly hair thrown up in a bun and if the owner reads this please you will do this place justice if you fire her. Also the deli line guys were hollering at some girls in line and were clearly making them uncomfortable. Borderline of sexual harassment. Food was okay. Will not be returning...
