I just got swindled! I have been a customer of Verizon for 12 years and am on the Granfathered Plan which promises premium service (for premium price) but I have been taken advantage of and am thoroughly disappointed. My sisters phone who is part of my plan broke. When we called to ask if it could be repaired (which is under the stipulations and insurance of my plan), she was coerced into getting a new phone and a new line- which she regrettably did- as she now found out that she needs to not only pay for this new line but also her old phone which is broken. On what planet would any person choose this as an option? When we went to the Canal Street store to fix this issue, we were told that they cannot rectify this issue and we need to keep this line for 3 years under the conditions. These conditions were not explained to us and so we are now left dealing with paying more money on top of what we already pay. We just wanted the phone fixed!!! Schneidy Scutte told me that he would change the line, but instead changed the entire plan- deleting the bundles that I had as well as the Grandfather plan without my permission. When I asked him to offer an explanation as to what he was doing when he grabbed my phone, he simply said āI am fixing the line you are trying to cancelā- he did not fix this. Instead, he created an entirely new issue. So disappointed. I had to call customer service to try to rectify this issue to no avail. Luis tried what he could for a solid half hour, but all of us agreed it'd be best for dad to get a new phone (3 years old by this point and dad's not careful). The patience he showed throughout the entire process is unmatched in modern times lol. My parents are not technical at all and he took the time to explain what he was doing at every step, why he was doing it and how long it would take. While looking at our account he let us know all the upgrades/specials that were available. We left to let him set up the new phone and it was all set when we came back (he called us within an hour to say it was ready). All data restored to the new phone and ready to be used - and one less grumpy dad. And complete side note, they were playing some great music, we were jammin the whole time. Definitely come here if you're looking for a great experience, especially if you're not as comfortable with tech. I'll be back any time I (more likely my parents) need something...

Not only that but she is very kind person who genuinely cares about the customer. She took her time trying to find the best deal for me. She order a phone for me yesterday and it arrive the next day (today) and then she said ābtw last night I was looking around to see if I could get you a better deal and I found one.ā
I was more than content with the first deal because it was a good one but the second one was even better. Hope, thank you for the help and for showing me how to use the new phone. I went from the 7 to the 12 pro and as you know the 12 doesnāt have a button. This is something you didnāt have to do but it was very much appreciated. I am beyond pleased and grateful. I am definitely returning to Verizon on Canal Street in the future.
