Ordered our traditional Christmas tamales from here. This is our 26th year ordering the tamales. They were very tasty this year. I have to admit, some years weren't so hot. However, this year's batch, and most year's batches have been awesome. Perhaps 2-3 times out of 26 years is not too shabby. Considering the amount they make, that's pretty good. A tip for you, please order your tamales or masa about 2-3 weeks prior, pre-pay for them, DO NOT LOSE YOUR YELLOW RECEIPT, pick them up on December 23rd or 24th and you do not have to wait in the humongous line!! The Korean lady, owner of the store, is nice but she doesn't really understand what I'm saying. I understand that she has a language barrier. Another thing is the dining section has a horrid smell ( smell like dead rat to me). My beef tacos were served cold. I feel like they froze it and reheated them in the microwave cuz some parts of them still have ice. I initially wanted to return them for the refund but i was trying to be nice so I let them get away. It was the first and last time...

Another place that has changed so much, I will never visit again..Used to have great enchiladas, sauce great, tamales okay..Dry tamales, not enough meat & sauce inside.. Market used to be stocked with breads & products.. I believe the only reason this place survives is the sale of their masa as several ladies were buying while I waited for my terrible food...Got a pork-dry-although I heated in my steamer & can't say anything about cheese/pepper tamal as I...
