let me start out by saying I am not someone to leave bad reviews, but this place needs a wake up call & hopefully uses this review to improve themselves. When we first arrived, the room smelled terrible. It smelled like cigarettes, and the walls were stained too. We asked to switch our rooms to non-smoking, which we did, and having it be RIGHT next door to the room we were originally staying at, the smell didn't go away. I didn't think much of it like "ok cigarette smell isn't too bad, I'll get used to it". I checked the blankets just to make sure they were clean, and to my shock there was BLOOD stains & holes on the blankets! Like legit spots of dry blood on the blankets!! I got SO freaked out by that, we didn't even sleep on the blankets, only the sheets. Not to mention it was freezing...I thought that was it and then when my boyfriend moved the pillow to watch TV, guess what? He found TERMITES on the pillows & blankets. They were huge too. That pretty much did it. The man said no refunds so we were Forced to sleep there through the night. I've stayed in many motels & I travel often. But this has to have been the WORST stay of my life! I'm sorry if the staff reads this, but please fix this for you're future guests. $70 a night for this was NOT okay, there wasn't even free wifi and cable was an extra $10....

Pictures look a thousand times better than what the rooms look like. My room was extremely filthy... The carpet was dirty. The furniture was stained and gross. The walls were covered in splatters of who knows what, and pecies of wall were cut out and put back in. I was really going to try to tuff it out, but after coming back from the beach and finding HUGE spiders I just couldn't stay. I checked out and told the front office my experience, and asked if they were willing to refund me my 2nd night. The man upfront said no. I honestly just didn't feel safe or comfortable sleeping somewhere so filthy especially knowing I had spiders in the room. I called the site I booked through and they were able to talk to the manager and get my 2nd night refunded by Rick. The charge is still pending, so I hope they keep their word. Taking the loss on the first night was well worth my peace of mind. I would not recommend staying here based off the room I stayed in. The room is nice, a completely different view from the outside of the hotel. I went in to check in and check out in less than 2 hours. There are street "women" workers literally at the corner of the hotel, getting picked up for business. In less than 5 mins, you see 5 to 6 workers in the street and cars parking everywhere picking up some businesses. There are shady apartments over looking at the hotel parking lots and with no lock gate. I wouldn't feel safe staying the night there. There is $100 deposited cash at check in which you get back when you check out. Even if this place is affordable, I wouldn't stay there unless you're looking for that kind of business.
