The upscale lounge advertised was only reflected in the bill. The rest of the experience felt like a hotel bar at best.
My wife and I visited with reservations all day arrived 15 mins early. After waiting by the door for the hostess for a few minutes she directed us to the bar. We sat and looked over the menu and ordered our drinks. Our drinks were promptly made and were well balanced. I had the Old West a strong rye whiskey cocktail with some spicy. My wife had a grapefruit and vodka cocktail.
While having our drinks we observed a cook from Mammoth next door enter and walk up to the bar. The hostess chatted with him and then told the bartender to give him a âBar shot of tequila.â Which he did and the cook downed the shot and left.
A female the hostess knew entered shortly after. She was ushered to a table where the hostess chatted with her sitting at the table. The hostess told the bartender to make her drink strong when she came back up to the bar. The drink was served in a Tom Collinâs glass and she was given a full rocks glass of leftover from the shaker. A waitress from Mammoth arrived and give her a to-go-box with food. The waitress then came behind the counter to chat with the bartender.
The hostess was also preparing the food for the patrons. This was an event all its own. She would take menus from customers to see what was on what they ordered. She asked a customer to open a jar after she couldnât. She occasionally would wear gloves and sometimes not while preparing and serving food. This is all in plain view of the bar.
We were never offered a table. Even though we reserved one. If you were a friend of the hostess you got a table though. The atmosphere came across to me as the ânew hangout placeâ for restaurant staff either next door or in the area.
When we received our bill our bartender said âWe are obviously short staffed.â Our bill was $55. Two cocktails and a charcuterie board. I was not impressed by the price for our experience and level of professionalism displayed. If I want a nice cocktail and bar with atmosphere I will make the drive to the...

Food is pretty awful and mundane for the prices you pay. Hummus platter and Charcuterie board were tiny and everything is basically just Costco/QFC ingredients put onto a board in miniscule portions. The charcuterie board was missing 3 of the cheeses (Goat, gouda, and parmesan) listed on the menu and was mostly just a huge pile of gerkin pickles. When we asked the waitress shrugged and said "Oh we changed our recipe"... Recipe?? Literally you guys are buying the cheese flights from Costco and putting them on a platter.
Flatbreads were also just pre-purchased flatbreads with some cheese thrown on and raw tomatoes. Not well prepared or anything I couldn't do in my home toaster oven.
Salad was basically just a huge awkward pile of arugula doused in lemon juice and weird pieces of prosciutto.
Drinks were ok, nothing special. Espresso martini was watered...

We started with the midnight Manhattan. It was rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced, with the deep warmth of whiskey lifted by the aromatic bitters. My boyfriend went for the Old West, which was potent in the best way. For round two, he doubled down with another strong choice: a Cadillac Margarita. I decided to get adventurous and asked for a creative off-menu drink.. A chocolate espresso martini, and it was an absolute knockout: silky, indulgent, and the perfect way to end the evening.
The bartender was so kind and clearly knew her craft. If you visit, sit at the bar, youâll get top-tier service and a front-row seat to some seriously impressive mixology. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a...
