DQ's food is really good, most of the time. Level of service is another matter. Recent visits I have had orders incorrect. Example is an order for a 1/4 lb. hamburger, I get 1/2 lb. Who eats a 1/2 lb of meat??? Twice that happened. Of course I paid the higher price unnecessarily. I ordered a Blizzard in a particular flavor, and the order was taken. When I got to the window to pay quoted price, I was told no Blizzard? What, they just found out? Just yesterday, I ordered my 1/4 lb hamburger and Blizzards ( I should know better). So I got a 1/2 lb hamburger (again) and one of the Blizzards had not been mixed, just layers of ingredients. If that was not bad enough, there is more. I paid with a $50 bill. I received change for a $20. The you guy looks at me like I AM NUTS. Well, a n ice young lady came to the window after a few minutes and gave me correct change. I have called the manager and the issue was not handled in a professional customer service way. Suggested I go elsewhere. OK!! after my fifth visit is 3 weeks, you win. I will now go elsewhere...SONIC's. This is really sad for me because the food and selection is really good, they just can't seem to properly train their people and have the appropriate supervision. Read moreI want to say I’m very disappointed to say the least I hope they actually read this. We went between 7:30 and 8:00pm the line was already long not a problem did not mind the wait . Where I’m disappointed is we didn’t order much and I quote all we order was “ 3 medium Oreo blizzard and add brownie bites to 2 of them “ so normally when you order stuff like that the person is like this one is the one that don’t have xyz in it so you know which one is different . Not only did he not do that when I asked him which one was the one with out brownie he looked at crazy and said “ oh i don’t know “ like what? On top of that the order on the receipt was correct but when we got the chance to eat , it was incorrect. We received 3 blizzard : one regular Oreo , another oreo with brownie in it and the other one was a Reese or peanut one with Oreos at the top so it did look like a Oreo blizzard as well but was not . Which she does not like peanut butter so she couldn’t enjoy it but what if was a peanut allergy instead of just not liking peanut butter. That is dangerous because some people do have that allergy and can have a really bad reaction. So I’m very disappointed in the lack of regard of what was being served. Thank you...
Read moreGave them 5 Stars for years. *I knew when food was ready 25 seconds from order/payment time (the left overs from rush hour precook FIX was in) to be wary. No way you can cook Double Cheeseburger & Fries, Chicken Strip Basket , Toast, Gravy & Fries in that time unless previously cooked and throw items together , bag & tag. ** Dine in order,business very slow, 3 customers dining in. Drive thru very slow. Most DQ's precook several burgers and grilled chicken patties etc , prior to rush hour so that they can keep lines moving quickly but not so much precook on Fried foods such as Fries, Chicken Strips, Fried Chicken Patties for Sandwiches etc , As Fried Foods get hard with time as well as dried up. Chicken strips were rock hard as were fries. And Toast had been recooked complaint recooked very very hard. Manager was too busy looking for missing girl and telling others about her upcoming retirement with part time sit down job planned soon after DQ. And having her Benefits lined up before leaving DQ .
