McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Statesboro

My work vehicle had broken down in their parking lot at the beginning of their lunch hour. A staff member showed concern by stepping outside to ask if she could help. She even offered me a drink while I waited. After getting my client to their appointment through another driver I stayed with my vehicle until they returned to pick me up. Well nature called so I stopped inside their facility. The environment was warm and inviting. The staff was very friendly and acknowledged me the moment I entered. Anywho, I purchased a chef salad and O.... M.... G.... this freaking thing is huge and tastes amazing for it to be just a salad 😋😋😋I couldn't eat it all and it was just as fresh as if I had went in the garden and picked it myself. I have DEFINITELY found a piece of heaven on earth. I forgot to mention the gigantic chocolate chip cookie that was a cookie and chocolate lovers dream all into one! I can see myself eating here EVERY DAY!! STOP IN AND CHECK OUT THEIR FULL MENU AND THEY HAVE A MOBILE...

I came in tonight at approximately 8:43, 17 minutes before closing and before I was even about to speak a rude employee mentioned with an attitude that they were closing up and only had drinks. Not once did she greet me nor did she have proper customer service like telling me "take care and have a good night". If you do not want to encounter this rude behavior (this was my second time coming to this location) avoid the girl with black hair in a bun at night! Very rude and unprofessional, I am upset and will be calling corporate tomorrow to question their ethics on customer service with employees. I could totally see if I came in at 8:55 but I didn't and the door was still unlocked so that gave me the false perception that they were open for service. I hope this review can be of service to anyone looking to pick up some food around...

We have not eaten here in a long time because of the lack of service. We decided to try it gain, and I regret it. First, although it states there is a place in email to indicate you’re there for curbside, the email doesn’t contain this. They have a number on the sign for curbside that was constantly busy. Therefore we ended up going in and waiting behind other customers to get our CURBSIDE order. Do not offer curbside if you don’t do it, or don’t have the means to know when your customers are there. The sandwiches were ok, but definitely not worth $8 and of course, even though it states clearly on our order, both of them were missing pickles. This was the first time in years we have eaten here. It used to be really good. I don’t know what happened, but we will be choosing a different...
