Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Statesboro

I came to this restaurant yesterday with my e-gift card as I have always done and was told by not only one of the employees but also a Manager by the name of Jen who told me that they did not except E gift cards where they have to type the e gift card in manually she stated that she’s worked there 11 years and never has done that which is crazy because on the gift card itself. It clearly shows that if I would like to use it in store to have the cashier, enter the gift card manually when trying to inform them of that they then went on and said well we can’t accept it because it’s a screenshot and I stated I have no problem sending it to my regular email because it was coming from my work email, but by that time I was already pissed because I feel like I was being interrogated by them, asking me who’s been doing this for you let us know so they can get in trouble because that is not our policy to manually enter the gift cards when addressing this to the general manager he acted nonchalant and off the muscle. He was targeting me too as well saying well we can’t accept the gift cards from screenshots. That’s not the case here I was told by management and employees that you guys The gift cards at all if that’s the case why is Zaxby giving out those types of gift cards if that’s not what the Zaxby’s employees do on Chandler Road I used to love coming to the Zaxby’s because it was right around the corner from my house but now I’d rather drive to the one on fair Road I had no issues with them excepting...

The staff was about the only thing that was nice here. Appearantly the silverware is a luxury. Get boneless wings, you have to fight the line in order to ask for a fork. Then you bite into your wings and it's about 10X spicier than you asked for. So I figure "no problem people are human" so in response I ask for Bleu cheese to dip my wings in. Well... i guess that's a foreign request to these people cause she looked at me like I was crazy and said "but you didn't get a salad" .. #1 kudos for remembering my face and what I ordered cause there were like 100 people there. #2 what? You've never heard of that with wings? So she has to hunt down this dipping sauce for me and comes back with a near frozen squeeze packet of salad dressing for me to drown my wings in. All this topped with stools to sit on that are so poorly maintained that if I leaned back I thought I was falling. Also when I went to fill my drink there was about 7 LBS of ice piled under the spout of the soda fountain. All in all... I rate it was stars. Won't go back to...

So I ordered for pickup. The line was backed up. I was in line for 20 minutes. While sitting at the second window, I look and can see two employees visibly on their phones. I finally get home with my food and my fries were under cooked and really soggy, chicken was over cooked, the fried pickles did not taste good (I’ve had them before many times and never had issues with them) and my drink was filled all the way to the top with Ice. I barely got a few sips from it. Seems like the only thing that they did right tonight was the toast. Seems as though many employees are need some retraining or need more employees on busy nights.

This location really is hit or miss. I’ve gotten food from this location before and had literally NO issues. Which is the only reason I’m leaving a review tonight, as it was as bad as it is. Just very...
