Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Statesboro

4 trips in here for carry out, all similar results. I tend not to post negative reviews after just one trip. Tonight will be my last stop here. Online showed that my pizzas were ready 20 minutes after the order was placed. I walked in to pickup to be told it wasn't ready. No big deal. 40 minutes after the order was placed, I got the food. Nearly no toppings on the pizzas. Just enough to know they're there. 1 hair in a pizza which was nasty enough but as I was checking my pizza and leaving I watched a guy in the back drop a pizza box he was folding on the floor, face/inside down and proceed to fold it and put someone's pizza in it. Prior experience was similarly long waits, poor attitude on one trip, and 2 of the 4 time pizzas weren't cut at all. Just the cheese mashed flat. Once or twice is one thing but not 4 in a row. I'm not from the area, just frequently pass through. Do yourself a favor and go to Domino's...

I can’t win with this Papa John’s location. I’ve ordered from many other locations and have never had a problem. It’s almost like this location couldnt get my order right if their lives depended on it. September 3- I ordered an XL pepperoni, no cheese, with extra marinara and spinach. I received a pizza with almost NO marinara, not even the regular amount, and NO spinach- that I paid for. September 5- I ordered a NY style pepperoni with no cheese and extra marinara and I received a pizza with no extra marinara and it’s square cut- which I did not ask for. I’ve gone to customer support and made a complaint and given feedback and I was not compensated for the September 3 order. This papa John’s location will steal your money.. and won’t...

Took 2 hours to get our food. Yes, it was Friday. Yes, I get they were busy. Yes, I get they were waiting on a driver. By the time we got everything it was cold. If you know all these things, then I expect more realistic time frame. Don't say you'll have my food in 30 minutes on a Friday in a college town. Be honest. Anticipate your business. Don't get a manager to explain what a sales associate should/would/COULD know. I despise having to give one star reviews, but I will certainly give them when they're due. Papa Johns is better than this. PS, do yourself a favor and order local food. I will certainly do that in the future. PSS, when I order a Works pizza, I do expect the works, not a smattering...
