Electrify America Charging Station — Local services in Staunton

I have an Electrify America membership and this is definitely one of their nicer locations. There are 4 stations; however, one wasn't working. This seems to be a common theme at their charge stations. Luckily I had just beat the rush and the charging speed didn't drastically slow down when charging with 2 other vehicles simultaneously. Another positive is there is actually a trash can which you only seem to find at gas stations. Bathrooms are near by since it's in the Walmart parking lot and there are a few fast food options within walking distance (5-10 mins).

Electrify America is my number one choice of chargers and this one did not disappoint.

I was able to get a spot at a fast charger immediately. Plugging in was flawless and charge started immediately. By the time I grabbed a snack, it was done and I was ready to go.

The only issue is Google directions has you coming in the wrong way in a one way parking aisle, so make sure you are pointed the correct way...

(9/15/2025) This location seems messed up. Charger 2 was indicated out. We hooked up to charger 1 and could not initiate a charge after trying three times. So we hooked up to the other 350kW charger (#3) and started charging for 11 minutes and then it just disconnected. Tried to restart charging but no luck. So a successful charge...
