I had lunch with my father here on a Monday a little after 1.
Service was good, although like some other Thai places they dont keep up with their spice trays well. The one provided to me barely had any Thai red peppers in fish sauce or the green peppers in vinegar. I had to really fish around to get enough. I'm sure a lot of people dont even have a clue what I'm talking about.
I had the lemongrass soup with shrimp and the Larb Gai for my lunch. The shrimp in the soup were large and there were 4, so not too shabby. The soup was good, I've had worse Tom Yum. The Larb Gai was good but needed some of those peppers from the spice tray.
Dad had the drunken noodles with shrimp and liked it well enough that he ate it all, which is a bit unusual for him.
We took three dishes home for dinner on another night. I brought home the Pad Pik Khing and it was OK/good upon reheating. Nothing to rave about or hate. Brought home the Panang curry for the wife. She said it was not bad but was completely missing the the basil and lime leaf that was supposed to be on it. I realize it would not have been fresh when reheating but they still should have been there for the flavor. It was not as good as the last Panang Curry she had elsewhere.
I never got a report on the Pad Broccoli dad brought home for mom (we dont live together). My guess is it wasn't bad.
All in all everything was good, not the 5 star outstanding many people are reviewing but nothing bad that would warrant less...
Read morefirstly the atmosphere and vibe of this whole place was really good !! ('▽') — there wasn’t any like superrrr light lights that were in your face, it was like a dimmed lighting !! the restaurant as a whole felt very homey like one of those places where its family owned and you know it’s just a comfortable place to be !! — (´∇`)

Read moreWe are at this restaurant for dinner while visiting Virginia for seeing the fall colors. The restaurant is located in downtown. There is sufficient parking facility for 10 cars at the very least. There are ample number of vegetarian as well as vegan options for the offering. We ordered the stir fried ginger with shiitake mushrooms and veggies, along with vegetarian mussaman curry. The mussaman curry was decent and had a mildly sweet flavor. The stir fried ginger was a bit on the sweeter side for me with an overpowering flavor of dried ginger powder rather than of fresh ginger. We also ordered a couple of drinks. I only got my third choice of drinks since they had ran out of some of the alcohol which was needed for my first two choices. I finally settled on a drink named the Bangkok sunset, where the taste was primarily of the orange juice rather than a balance of the alcohol tasty and the fruit juice ( which is expected of a good cocktail). The second drink was named blue kamikaze. It was a decent drink as well. The waiting staff were polite and helpful. The waiting time for the food was very less as well. Overall it was a...
