While camping at Silver Falls State Park, I came across this place, but it turned out there was a religious gathering happening, which made it hard to enjoy the overall atmosphere. It seemed like one of the owners was participating, and I couldn’t help but think it might be better to hold such meetings outside of business hours. After enduring three gospel songs from what felt like the worst band imaginable, I couldn’t take it anymore and left. Beer was great, but …I wouldn’t recommend going before 9:00. We’ve been twice but we’ve been surprised how many kids come with their parents (just weird to me, who does that) it felt like Chucky Cheese with kids literally bouncing on the couches and running through the beer pub in and outside near a busy street…we couldn’t stay while parents ignored their kids and chatted...

Great little place that is out of the way. Highly recommend: Tuttle Trail NE Pale Ale, and the Schmokin Porter. Back end "patio" area butts up against the Water District power dam, makes for a tranquil hangout. Staff is super friendly, and the beer is great.
